All good things must come to an end and that's it for another weekend of EFL action.

I know, where did that go?

We've seen Watford edge the battle of the play-off chasers with another home win over West Brom to go into seventh.

Burnley then fought back to beat Norwich and move within a point and place of the automatic promotion spots.

Burnley kept the heat on the top two and move back into third place - 24 hours after surrendering it to Sunderland following their win at Swansea.

The Clarets' gutsy fightback win at Norwich extends their unbeaten run to eight matches, while the Canaries missed the chance to move into the top 10 and remain 12th after their fifth defeat in nine matches.

Elsewhere, Vakoun Bayo’s double helped Watford leapfrog opponents West Brom into seventh place.

Just goal difference keeps the Hornets out of the play-off spots as we edge towards the halfway point of the Championship marathon.

  4. 'Norwich beaten at home'published at 17:01 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

    FT: Norwich 1-2 Burnley

    Chris Goreham
    BBC Radio Norfolk commentator

Norwich have been beaten at home for just the second time this year.

The performance from Norwich dropped off in the second half, the first half was as good as Norwich have played at Carrow Road this season.

It did change in the second half and Burnley have taken the points here and it's frustrating for Norwich City.

  5. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:56 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

    Norwich 1-2 Burnley

A huge win for Burnley in the race for promotion and Norwich suffer just a second home defeat in 25 games.

The hosts made a late rally but Scott Parker's side hold on for all three points.

Jose Cordoba put the Canaries ahead after 63 seconds with a glancing header at the near-post from Marcelino Nunez's corner.

But the Clarets turned it around in eight second half minutes thanks to Zian Flemming's 30-yard blockbuster and Josh Brownhill's crisp finish on the angle.

Eight unbeaten for Burnley now and three without a win for Norwich, who also lose at home for the second time in four games, having previously lost none in 21 at Carrow Road.

    What a miss from Marcondes!

That was a golden opportunity to put Norwich level.

A huge chance and I don't know if Norwich will get a better one here.

That was the moment but Emiliano Marcondes can't finish for Norwich.

It drops in the six-yard box, it's a tight angle and Marcondes smashes it across the face of goal and wide of the far post.

Talking of goals, that strike by Josh Brownhill means Norwich now have the joint-fifth leakiest defence in the Championship.

The Canaries are the great entertainers but they'll be kicking themselves having led.

Less than six minutes plus added time to save it.

Who said Burnley were struggling for goals? They've crucially scored twice at Carrow Road against a Norwich side who have lost just once at home in 13 months.

Can the Clarets hold on for a vital three points in the promotion race?

  18. 'What a turnaround!published at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

    Norwich 1-2 Burnley

    Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

    What a turnaround!

It's a really good finish, Anthony trying to get it under control, but it falls to Brownhill and he's got a bit to do but he's fired it past the keeper.

We've been the better side and that's why he's the top scorer.

He took it on the chest on the bounce and fired it into the far corner. Norwich came out of their shell, which they had to, and we've taken advantage of it.

GOAL: Norwich 1-2 Burnleypublished at 76 mins

    Josh Brownhill

Burnley have come from behind to lead!

Hannibal Mejbri floats in a ball from the right and Jaidon Anthony tries to get it under control.

Norwich defender Kellen Fisher nicks in to head it away but it only goes as far as Josh Brownhill who takes a touch and smashes one across goal into the far corner on the angle.

A seventh goal of the season for Brownhill and a devastating eight minutes from the Clarets who have completely turned this game on its head.
