Spurs cleverly work James Maddison into the box but Milos Kerkez gets a touch to make it a corner instead of a scoring chance.

    Fulham 1-0 Brighton

Brighton clear Harry Wilson's corner and he collects the ball and drives into the box but Mats Wieffer times a tackle to absolute perfection. No room for error when going to ground like that.

James Maddison gets a whack on the knee from Ryan Christie but he's OK to continue.

Former Stoke City and Bournemouth manager on BBC Radio 5 Live Extra

James Maddison needs to get on the ball higher up the field. He has the ability to create chances for Tottenham if he gets on the ball in the right areas and there are goals in this game for them if they get it right.

    Fulham 1-0 Brighton

Calvin Bassey makes himself a nuisance from the corner as the ball bounces in the box but Brighton manage to clear. Again, Fulham pile forward.

  6. Postpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December

    Bournemouth 1-0 Tottenham

Marcus Tavernier has now assisted four Premier League goals in each of his three seasons in the competition.

Plenty of time to get a fifth this season.

  7. Postpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December

    Fulham 1-0 Brighton

Rodrigo Muniz has the ball on the right and he finds Reiss Nelson on the left with an unbelievable pass. The attack eventually ends in a corner for Fulham after a small appeal for a penalty.

  8. Postpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December

    Bournemouth 1-0 Tottenham

Bournemouth are up to ninth as things stand, above Tottenham in the table.

  9. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December

    Fulham 1-0 Brighton

Silly one from Lewis Dunk as he puts two hands in the back of Rodrigo Muniz and the referee gives a free kick. Chance for Fulham to take a breather.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December

    Bournemouth 1-0 Tottenham

The referee gives Yves Bissouma a yellow card for a foul in the build-up to that. He'd played advantage.

  11. Postpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December

    Fulham 1-0 Brighton

Just like the majority of the first half, it's Brighton who take control of the ball as they look for a way through this Fulham defence.

  12. Postpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December

    Bournemouth 1-0 Tottenham

Antoine Semenyo finds Marcus Tavernier, who can't decide whether to shoot or pass and in the end I'm not sure which he does. His low rolling ball goes wide of the post anyway.

I thought that Tottenham had started very well. They certainly were the team to have started the better and looked in control.

Just seconds after the restart, Harry Wilson sprints forward and is found by Alex Iwobi. The Welshman tries a volley but can't connect well. What a goal that would've been!

That is PEAK spurs. Well on top in the game. Give away a completely needless corner from a defensive mis-kick. Followed by a non-existent effort to prevent a free header from a corner
