There is a pleasing naivety in Georgia's play that makes the match so much more enjoyable than the pragmatism of the so-called bigger nations.

Fiorentina midfielder Antonin Barak makes a bit of history with the fastest red card in Euros history - 20 minutes.

The previous record was held by France defender Eric Abidal who was shown a straight red card after 24 minutes against Italy at Euro 2008.

Antonin Barak is a little bit unlucky. He loses control and just stands on the top of the Turkey player's foot. If he hadn't been booked it would have been a very harsh yellow but especially so with him already having been booked.

  6. 'Guler and Yildiz the main threats for Turkey'published at 20:22 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arda Guler looks a real player. A very baby faced young talent on that right hand side cutting in on his left foot. Him and Kenan Yildiz are the main threat for Turkey who are enjoying the lion's share of possession at the moment.

  7. Postpublished at 20:22 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Portugal get a free-kick out wide right, close to the touchline and it is played deep by Joao Felix. Cristiano Ronaldo is there at the back post, but just before he can head at goal, his team-mate Antonio Silva, the man who was responsible for the mistake that Georgia scored from, gets in the way and nods it well wide.

    Ronaldo is not amused.

That is the Czech Republic's first red card at the Euros since 2000 against the Netherlands.

A big ask now for the 10 men who need to win this game to go through.

Antonín Barak gets a second booking and he's off!

The Czech player, lunging for the ball, ends up with studs on the top of a Turkish foot.

It seems harsh but he's booked and his earlier yellow card means he's gone.

Turkey with a high press almost catch Czech keeper Jindrich Stanek out but he just about deals with it.

  11. 'Ronaldo absolutely leathered it'published at 20:18 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Utterly brilliant effort from Cristiano Ronaldo. He has absolutely leathered it, the ball is moving all over the place and the keeper wisely decides to punch clear. He wasn't ever going to try and catch that.

Cristiano Ronaldo does indeed take the free-kick from 30 yards and gets a great connection on it. It is fierce and swerving all over the place, but Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili does superbly to jump up and get two arms in the way to block it.

  13. Postpublished at 20:17 26 June

  14. Postpublished at 20:16 26 June

Francisco Conceicao twists and turns and tries to find Cristiano Ronaldo, the ball doesn't get there but only because Conceicao is fouled. Ronaldo is over the free-kick, 30 yards out and central.

  15. Postpublished at 20:16 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

The ball comes to Czech David Jurasek a good 30 yards from goal and he thinks 'why not?' and hammers in a first-time drive but it's very central and goalkeeper Mert Gunok saves it.

Gunok is back in goal today after Manchester United's Altay Bayindir started against Portugal.

  16. Guler gets the crowd goingpublished at 20:14 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Volksparkstadion

There's a lot of excitement and anticipation from the Turkey fans when Arda Guler has the ball, and he seems to feed on the roar of encouragement as he charges forward.

His shot just now was off target, but he looks up for this.

  17. 'Georgia waiting for the next moment to break'published at 20:14 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is so interesting how Georgia play, in that 5-3-2 formation but leaving the two attackers up top. They are just waiting for that next moment to hit Portugal, just waiting to break again.

  18. Postpublished at 20:14 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Joao Felix, who had a spell on loan at Chelsea, tries to find Cristiano Ronaldo with a cross from deep on the left, but it is too low and easily headed clear by Georgia.

Czech Republic have played a lot of the competition without the ball, quite happily sat in a deep back five and held their line. But today they have started very well on the ball and have had some decent attacks already. It will be up to Turkey to try to find a hole in behind the back five.
