Dimitar Mitov produces heroics for St Johnstone now. Again, Myziane Maolida and Emiliano Marcondes link up well with the latter firing off a shot, but Mitov pulls off a super diving stop.

Incredible defending from Dan Phillips keeps St Johnstone in it.

Hibs counter and Emiliano Marcondes finds Martin Boyle on the right. He's into the box, he hesitates and pulls the ball back to Myziane Maolida.

The shot beats the keeper but Phillips is back to clear off the line.

Motherwell are down to 10 men!

Connor Barron floats a pass to Jack Mackenzie, who beats Vale to the ball and gets studs in the midriff for his troubles.

Shaky moment for Zander Clark as he fails to collect a low, unassuming Brad Lyons delivery across goal at the first attempt. Thankfully for the Hearts 'keeper, he is able to quickly scoop the ball up before a Kilmarnock attacker can nip in.

As I thought, Derek McInnes makes the change at half-time. Robbie Deas off, Brad Lyons on to beef up the midfield.

It wasn't really working for Killie in the first half, the extra man in the middle should help.

They are up and running at Livingston and Aberdeen. The others won't be far behind.

Ross County interim manager Don Cowie has gone to his bench at half-time.

Forwards Eamonn Brophy and Jordan White are on and Victor Loturi and Josh Sims have not re-appeared for the second half.

Hearts will be quite content with their afternoon in the Ayrshire sun so far. Twice hitting the crossbar and giving the Kilmarnock defence a much trickier time than at the other end of the park.

The capital club is running the show in midfield, where Killie are a man light after going to a back four for this one.

I wonder whether Robbie Deas might be sacrificed after the break, with David Watson coming on to boost the home effort in the middle of the park.

It's been too comfortable for Hearts in there thus far.
