    I do feel that those gaps will start to appear as the game goes on because Burnley are going to have to start committing a few more players further forward.

    I think Scott Parker will be quite happy with his team in the first half.

    Burnley’s shape has been pretty good and they’ve got in behind a few times.

    They probably just need to try and force it wide more and press from there.

    There will always be concerns when Reece James is substituted that he has picked up some kind of injury.

    However, looking at him walking over the bench, it was likely a planned 45-minute substitution, which manager Enzo Maresca likes to do.

    It would limit the captain's minutes with Barcelona and Arsenal to come - while giving a returning Badiashile a chance for 45 minutes after returning from a muscle injury sustained one month ago.

    Burnley looked good at the start but Chelsea have grown into it.

    Their wide players came into it a bit more and they started to get hold of the ball. They got the goal and from then, they couple have probably had one or two more.

    Chelsea good value for their lead but Burnley not out of it yet.

    Having taken the lead, Chelsea will squander lots of chances to secure the three points, before inevitably conceding late on in the game.

  16. Cucurella is the difference maker

    Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella was impossible to pick up and found the space that helped unlock Burnley's defence for Pedro Neto's opening goal.

    In the last moment of the half, his run into an attacking midfield position also gave Liam Delap, who himself has struggled, a chance to shoot on goal.

    That clever movement for a left back into striker and no10 position has been a problem for Scott Parker's side and proved the difference.
