Summary

  1. goal

GOAL Watford 2-1 Sunderlandpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 28 September

    Tom Dele-Bashiru, pen (84 mins)

    Now then!

Watford sub Kwadwo Baah flies into the box and shows some trickery before being felled by Dan Neil, earning the Hornets a spot-kick.

Tom Dele-Bashiru holds his nerve to beat Anthony Patterson and find the bottom corner from the spot and just like that Sunderland are behind once more.

Can the Black Cats find a late leveller as they did at Plymouth in their last away game?

  2. Postpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 28 September

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Stoke

Stoke sub Sam Gallagher is one of the six Potters on a booking and he had a nervous look on his face after bringing down Hayden Hackney.

Still minutes or so to negotiate for those 10 players in the book.

    Portsmouth 0-0 Sheff Utd

Into the final 10 minutes at Fratton Park.

Portsmouth's winless start looks to be going on but they will not want to over-commit to searching for a winner if it is to be at the cost of a vital point against quality opponents.

The Blades bring Tyrese Campbell on for Kieffer Moore.

What a hit from Hayden Hackney!

Boro's talisman drives towards the box, works some space and lets fly from just outside the box and finds the postage stamp in the top corner of Viktor Johansson's goal.

    The Redcar Ronaldo!

    That should be that, right?

I'd be looking to save one or two here.

Friday will be their third game in a week.

The Norwich and Sunderland games will be tougher than this one, no disrespect to Coventry.

The Whites visit Norwich on Tuesday before traveling to Wearside on Friday.

Oxford have been so impressive at home this season, heading into the final 20 of normal time can they hold on and get a result or will Burnley score late on again like they did against Portsmouth.
