The half time stats don't make good reading for Coventry fans

We've only been looking one way, into Coventry's half.

Some of the play Leeds have had has been fantastic but the shooting has been hit and miss.

They could easily be 3-0 up but the only worry is that it is only 1-0.

Coventry boss Mark Robins will be telling his players they are still in this.

  2. 'We've given them too much respect'published at 15:55 British Summer Time 28 September

    HT: Watford 1-0 Sunderland

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

The quality of balls in behind have been class, we have to give them that, but we have given them too much respect.

The referee has allowed the game to go on - as the game progressed Sunderland managed to apply some pressure but the decision making has to be better, everyone has to be sharper.

Leeds are a goal to the good thanks to a wonderful strike from Willy Gnonto.

The home side have absolutely battered struggling Coventry in truth and it's only a combination of some good saves from Ben Wilson and wasteful finishing from the Whites that mean this isn't several more.

One bad note for the hosts in that first 45 minutes though, skipper Ethan Ampadu was forced off with a knee injury.

Coventry City are still in the game, but there isn't much attacking threat.

Six minutes of first half stoppage time. I'm not sure if thats going to be good for the Sky Blues.

There is still time for Coventry to get an effort on goal before half-time.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 28 September

    Millwall 2-0 Preston

Millwall have a deserved two goal lead going into the break.

George Honeyman and Romain Esse the scorers, the latter's finish one of real quality to take the ball around the keeper and slot home.

The Lions in a good place after 45, Preston with work to do.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 28 September

    Hull City 2-1 Cardiff

Callum Robinson gave the rock-bottom visitors hope with a breakaway strike but two goals from Mohamed Belloumi, his first for the Tigers, have turned the game on its head at the break.

Hull City's 120th birthday party is back on!

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 28 September

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Stoke

Ben Doak's first senior goal, turned in from close range after a Riley McGree shot was parried, separates the sides at the break, but Emmanuel Latte Lath might well have made it a bigger margin, only to see his header come back off the post.

Plenty to ponder for Narcis Pelach at the interval.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 28 September

    Oxford 0-0 Burnley

Goalless at the Kassam as we get to the break.

  9. Postpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 28 September

    Leeds 1-0 Coventry

We're one minute into six added at the end of the first half.

Leeds win ANOTHER corner as they look to get the second goal their dominance merits.

  10. INJURY TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 28 September

    Oxford 0-0 Burnley

Two minutes to be added on here.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 28 September

    Watford 1-0 Sunderland

Festy Ebosele's sweet volley - his forst goal for the Hornets - has the hosts in charge at the break... and it's the least they deserve.

Luke O'Nien did threaten an equaliser but the visitors have plenty of work to do if they are to go top of the Championship today.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 28 September

    Portsmouth 0-0 Sheff Utd

Nothing to separate the teams in this match up between a side who haven't won this season and one who are yet to lose.

The unbeaten Blades have come closest but Will Norris made a fine save from Gus Hamer's header.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:43 British Summer Time 28 September

    Hull City 2-1 Cardiff

Cardiff keeper Jak Alnwick has produced a fine save to prevent Chris Bedia adding a third for Hull before the break.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:41 British Summer Time 28 September

    Watford 1-0 Sunderland

Wilson Isidor has a second sight of goal for Sunderland, this time firing narrowly wide of Jonathon Bond's upright, as his wait for a first goal for the club goes on.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 28 September

    Leeds 1-0 Coventry

    Not good for Leeds this.

Skipper Ethan Ampadu makes a 50-50 tackle and wins the ball but comes off the worse for it.

The Wales international gets some treatment and gets out there to try and give it a go but he's not right.

Japan international Ao Tanaka is on in his stead.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 28 September

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Stoke

Close to a second for the hosts as Emannuel Latte Lath heads against the woodwork from a Ben Doak cross.

  17. Postpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 28 September

    Leeds 1-0 Coventry

Are Leeds going to live to regret not taking all these chances?

Largie Ramazani is in behind the Sky Blues defence and really should at least hit the target but he skews his effort wide.

Coventry will be DELIGHTED if this is still just 1-0 at the break.

  18. goal

GOAL: Millwall 2-0 Prestonpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 28 September

    Romain Esse (38 mins)

For his first goal at the Den!

Duncan Watmore plays the ball through to Esse who picks it up, takes it round Preston keeper Freddie Woodman and from a narrow angle slides it into the net.

  19. goal

GOAL Hull City 2-1 Cardiffpublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 28 September

    Mohamed Belloumi (35 mins)

    No doubt about this one...

Mohamed Belloumi has his second of the game, if the first one owed a touch to fortune, this was all class, dinking over Jak Alnwick and into the back of the net after being found in the box by Marvin Mehlem.

Neither side had scored in the first half this season before this afternoon.

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 28 September

    Millwall 1-0 Preston

A big chance for PNE to get back level.

Josh Bowler threads a ball through to Brad Potts who stretched to knock the ball towards goal, but he was denied by Millwall keeper Lukas Jensen.
