  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:16 BST 30 August

    MK Dons 0-0 Walsall

The hosts have picked up an early booking as Luke Offord is shown a yellow card for his challenge on Evan Weir who needs treatment.

Calum Paterson has had a sight of goal for the Dons, but scuffs his shot, while Charlie Lakin has had an effort blocked at the other end.

  2. 'It's just what we needed'published at 15:15 BST 30 August

    Blackpool 1-0 Bolton

    Brett Ormerod
Former Blackpool and Preston striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

Blackpool have not been in the game, the first shot at goal, and they lead 1-0.

It's just what we needed, Bolton were on top, dictating play, and it was frustrating for Blackpool.

We've got to keep the ball better, though.

A couple of goals to bring you early doors in League Two with both coming in the ninth minute.

Jack Tucker has given Colchester a 1-0 lead at Barnet.

And Crawley are one up at Chesterfield thanks to Harry McKirdy's goal.

  4. goal

The Tangerines have lift-off... it's a first goal for the club for Dale Taylor, well, with a bit of help from the Wanderers keeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe.

Dale Taylor prods the ball past a defender on halfway and drives towards goal before firing in a low shot which went into the net via the base of the near post and the keeper, who might have done better.

  5. 'Good attacking intensity'published at 15:13 BST 30 August

    Grimsby 0-0 Bristol Rovers

    Nathan Ellington
Ex-Bristol Rovers striker on BBC Radio Bristol

Good play, they were doing that in the warm up, the link up and the lay off.

Sotiriou didn't quite get enough power on it.

I think both teams will test the keeper. I'd be surprised if this ended 0-0. Good attacking intensity so far.

  6. 'We just have to get on with it'published at 15:12 BST 30 August

    Barnsley 1-0 Huddersfield

    Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

Town haven't conceded too many goals in any other games so far.

You've got to make a team work to get past you with a record like that, there's still plenty of time in this game, though.

We just have to get on with it.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:12 BST 30 August

    Grimsby 0-0 Bristol Rovers

The Pirates force the first save of the match as Ruel Sotiriou finds space in the box for a shot.

But Christy Pym keeps out the low effort which was heading towards the bottom corner.

Grimsby then go so close to breaking the deadlock as Reece Staunton whips a free kick against the far post!

We also have another early goal in League One as Jayden Fevrier has given Stockport an early lead at Wigan.

Revenge will be on the cards for the Hatters against their north-west neighbours after they were knocked out of the EFL Cup by the Latics only on Tuesday at the Brick Community Stadium.

  9. goal

GOAL: Barnsley 1-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:09 BST 30 August

    Davis Keillor-Dunn (9 mins)

    The Tykes strike first...

That's three for the season for Davis Keillor-Dunn who thumps high into the net after Town keeper Owen Goodman failed to hold on to a cross from Nathaniel Ogbeta on the left.

Work to do for the Terriers.

  10. Postpublished at 15:09 BST 30 August

    MK Dons 0-0 Walsall

Early delay in play at Stadium MK for an injury to the Dons' defender Jack Sanders.

But, happily, he's fit to continue. Still awaiting out first attempt in anger.

  11. Postpublished at 15:07 BST 30 August

    Grimsby 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Grimsby have started very much on the front foot after their midwek cup heroics.

They're up to almost 90% possession in the first five minutes and have forced a couple of cornbers.

  12. Postpublished at 15:05 BST 30 August

    Blackpool 0-0 Bolton

Bright start by the Trotters as they seek to win at Bloomfield Road for the first time in 19 visits.

Aaron Morley has made a busy start and has seen a free-kick headed behind for a corner in the opening stages.

  13. 'I think he can give this MK Dons defence some real problems'published at 15:05 BST 30 August

    MK Dons 0-0 Walsall

    Paul Joannou
Walsall summariser on BBC Radio WM

Connor Barrett does have a lot of space out on this right side.

Interesting for Harper as well his ability to use both feet, I think he can give this MK Dons defence some real problems today.

  14. Postpublished at 15:04 BST 30 August

    Barnsley 0-0 Huddersfield

Early stoppage at Oakwell as Terriers striker Alfie May is down needing some treatment.

Chesterfield will be looking to continue their good start to the season and can go top with a win over Crawley who are still in search for their first three points of the season.

Undefeated Gillingham make the trip to Oldham who are also yet to bag a win in League Two. The Latics have recorded four draws and tasted defeat just once so far.

Harrogate, who suffered their first defeat of the season against Chesterfield last weekend go to undefeated Bromley. Andy Woodman’s side managed a 2-2 draw at Notts County last time out after a late equaliser.

Tranmere who extended their unbeaten league start to the season to four games with a 2-0 victory at Crawley last Saturday welcome Notts County to Preston Park.

And there’s a big game already at the foot of the table as Accrington in 21st travel to second from bottom Shrewsbury as both sides look to pick up their first wins of the season.

  17. Unbeaten Dons a tough nut to crackpublished at 14:55 BST 30 August

MK Dons v Walsall (15:00 BST)

A tight clash is expected at Stadium MK with just two points separating third-placed Dons and Walsall in eighth.

Milton Keynes are unbeaten this season under Paul Warne and sit just a point behind the early pacesetters Crewe and Chesterfield.

Key to the Dons' solid start has been their defensive strength. They have the joint-best defensive record in League Two so far, conceding just two goals and keeping three clean sheets.

That stat doesn't bode so well for the goal-shy Saddlers who have found the net just three times in their last four league games.

Today, Mat Sadler's side seek to string together back-to-back wins for the first time this campaign after edging out Salford 1-0 last time out.

  18. Back to league business for giant killerspublished at 14:54 BST 30 August

Grimsby v Bristol Rovers (15:00 BST)

There may well be a few more eyes on Grimsby's result today than usual and there's no prizes for guessing why.

In case you've been living in a cave this week, the Mariners pulled off a seismic cup shock on Wednesday evening when they knocked Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup on penalties.

And it was no lucky win. Grimsby had two goals ruled out, while the Premier League big boys needed two late goals just to get to a shootout.

David Artell's side should be fizzing with confidence as they come to the slightly less glamorous prospect of a League Two tie with Rovers. Town are unbeaten this season, have a 100% record at Blundell Park this season and sit just a point behind the leaders.

In contrast, Rovers have not enjoyed the best of starts to the campaign and lie 19th.

But Darrell Clarke's side are showing signs of life. They are unbeaten in their last two, after losing their opening three, and claimed their first win against Cambridge last weekend.

For fans of nostalgia, this is the first league meeting between the sides since 2007 when Grimsby came back from 2-0 down to edge a 4-3 thriller.

  19. Tykes and Terriers hope to continue bright startspublished at 14:50 BST 30 August

    Barnsley v Huddersfield (15:00 BST)

    Betty Glover
    Final Score reporter at Oakwell

Local bragging rights are on the line at Oakwell with both sides having had very good starts to the season. Huddersfield in particular under Lee Grant.

Fans will want to whisper it, but they’re starting to look every bit the pre-season favourites.

They’ve had a near perfect start bar their 3-2 defeat to Blackpool earlier this month and have won all their other games, without conceding a goal.

Barnsley, meanwhile, have been free-scoring but not quite as solid at the back. Six goals conceded so far suggests they’re still ironing out some defensive issues.

It’s no surprise that some home fans have said to me today they’d take a draw if offered one right now.

Still, given how both sides have started, I reckon we are in for a good one today.

Stevenage, whose winning start to the League One season came to an end at Huddersfield last weekend, welcome Wycombe to the Lamex Stadium with the Chairboys yet to pick up a league win.

Bradford remain undefeated so far this campaign and the next test for Graham Alexander’s side is 10th-place AFC Wimbledon at Valley Parade.

Stockport, in sixth, will be seeking revenge against north-west neighbours Wigan just four days after the two sides met in the EFL Cup when Fraser Murray's late header saw the Latics progress.

We could see a lot of change at the foot of League One come full-time today. Bottom club Peterborough who picked up their point of the season against Bradford last time out travel to Exeter.

No league wins as of yet for Reading who have drawn their last two. Noel Hunt's side did beat AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, though. The Royals will be looking to build on that against Port Vale who sit just a place above them in 22nd.
