Our incessant need to manufacture idols is so visible when it comes to Mbappe. He’s a good footballer but comes nowhere close to the Messi/Ronaldo conversation. Really think he is being exposed at Madrid. Monaco forced PSG to pay a superstar transfer fee off the back of the Neymar deal, but he’s rarely proved he can live up to it.

You can see why Juventus do not lose many games in Serie A. They are very good defensively.
