Following Argyle game from Tokyo on live reporting - I could be out at karaoke sampling sake but once a green in exile always a green in exile.

Turning down karaoke and sake for a Plymouth game? Now that's a real fan! Great commitment Peter!

  5. Gills late show falls just short as Dons take pointspublished at 16:02 BST 4 October

    FT: MK Dons 3-2 Gillingham

    Adam Cottier
BBC Radio 5 Live at Stadium MK

It’s always fun to see a goalkeeper go forward for a corner in a desperate attempt to salvage a draw and that’s what Gillingham’s Glenn Morris did here, but to no avail after a stirring late fightback that proved too late for the away side.

MK Dons had been far superior and anything less than three points would have been cruel on them; their fans clearly lifted by a seldom-seen home win under Paul Warne.

More like it for the pre-season promotion favourites and lot more aggressive and threatening in attack I would suggest.

Back-to-back losses won’t define Gillingham’s campaign at this stage and especially after a fine start to the season overall.

And best wishes to the Gillingham manager Gareth Ainsworth - away from this game today as he begins his recovery from heart surgery.

  6. 'Stockport dominating possession'published at 16:01 BST 4 October

    HT: Huddersfield 0-1 Stockport

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

In the traditional sense whenever you go behind at a home match like they have you boo the referee, which the Huddersfield fans are doing.

There will be some investigations at half-time as to why Stockport have dominated possession in the first half and had the most of the chances.

    • Notts County are two up against Oldham through a Donervon Daniels own goal with Tyrese Hall doubling the Magpies' lead.
    • Tranmere trail Bromley 2-1. Nathan Smith cancelled out Kyle Cameron's opener but Nicke Kabamba has put the the Ravens back in front.
    • Cambridge lead Crawley 1-0 through Shayne Lavery's goal while Barnet are also a goal to the good against Accrington.
    • Barrow v Shrewsbury and Cheltenham v Fleetwood are both goalless.

Mason Burstow scores for BoltonImage source, Rex Features
    • Danilo Orsi has converted from the spot to give AFC Wimbledon a 1-0 lead over Blackpool.
    • Mason Burstow's double means Bolton go into the tunnel ahead despite bottom club Peterborough clawing one back to make it 2-1.
    • Cardiff and Leyton Orient head to the break with one goal apiece.
    • Struggling Reading trail Mansfield Town 1-0 after the Stags' early goal.
    • No goals to speak of between Plymouth and Wigan, Lincoln and Exeter, Port Vale and Northampton Town, and the derby between Stevenage and Luton.
    • But Stockport supply a thrilling end to their first-half against Huddersfield by scoring an added time penalty.
  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 BST 4 October

    Huddersfield 0-1 Stockport

What an end to that first period with Oliver Norwood converting a penalty.

It's been very open and entertaining from these two free-scoring sides.

Kyle Wootton forced a very good early save out of Huddersfield goalkeeper Lee Nicholls while Marcus Harness was denied by Ben Hinchliffe.

A first win at Huddersfield for Stockport since April 2000? Well they're halfway there.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 BST 4 October

    Salford 0-2 Grimsby

Goals from Evan Khouri and Charles Vernam give Grimsby a two-goal at the Peninsula Stadium.

Work to do for Karl Robinson at the break.

  11. PENALTY & GOAL Huddersfield 0-1 Stockportpublished at 15:49 BST 4 October

    Oliver Norwood (45 + 1 mins)

Drama right at the end of the first period.

Brad Hills is hauled to the ground in the Huddersfield area.

    Penalty?

    Yes says referee Ben Toner.

Up steps Oliver Norwood - no mistake from the Stockport skipper.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 BST 4 October

    Walsall 0-1 Bristol Rovers

Fabrizio Cavegn's fourth goal in four games has put Rovers in front at the break.

These two have both taken 16 points from their past six games and it's pretty even.

Aden Flint has headed over for the Saddlers while Myles Roberts did well to deny Bryant Bilongo.

  13. Postpublished at 15:47 BST 4 October

    Walsall 0-1 Bristol Rovers

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at Bescot Stadium

    Boos from the away end.

Referee Stephen Martin has just stamped on and popped a blue and white inflatable football as it encroached on the pitch.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 BST 4 October

    Stevenage 0-0 Luton

Not quite the derby day drama we were hoping so far with little to report at the Lamex.

As it stands, Stevenage's chance to go top is passing them by.

Is the spark being saved for a dramatic conclusion?

  15. 'Huddersfield have played their part'published at 15:47 BST 4 October

    Huddersfield 0-0 Stockport

    Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

Huddersfield have played their part and Stockport have had chances.

It is very difficult to be accurate with the way you play when you have wind whirling around like it is here.

  16. Postpublished at 15:46 BST 4 October

    Stevenage 0-0 Luton

Just one minute added to this.

Half-time will feel like a full reset after a pretty uneventful first-half.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:45 BST 4 October

    Walsall 0-1 Bristol Rovers

A second caution for a Bristol Rovers man.

This time it's Ellis Harrison incurring the displeasure of referee Stephen Martin.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:44 BST 4 October

    Stevenage 0-0 Luton

Stevenage's Harvey White trips up Gideon Kodua and picks up a yellow for his bad deed.

  19. Postpublished at 15:44 BST 4 October

    Salford 0-2 Grimsby

Great chance for Salford to pull a goal back but Jorge Grant puts his effort over from six yards out.

That would have been a big goal before the break.

  20. Postpublished at 15:42 BST 4 October

    Huddersfield 0-0 Stockport

Marcus Harness fires one in from a narrow angle which Ben Hinchliffe in the Stockport goal is equal to.

Huddersfield have been in good positions but their finishing is lacking.
