  1. 'The manager will be happy with Albion's start'published at 12:54 GMT

    Coventry 0-1 West Brom

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

I think the manager will be happy with Albion's start so far today, they look very organised.

Coming to Coventry who have been scoring goals for fun and to be a goal up in these opening stages, the manager will be very happy.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:53 GMT

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

    Wow!

A short pass to Josh Key in space provides the right-back an opportunity to place an excellent cross in towards an emerging Adam Idah.

Idah connects and takes a punt at goal but Robins keeper Radek Vitek is there to block it with his body.

Vitek isn't able to get his gloves on the ball though and Idah attempts to put the loose ball in the net but he's offside.

  3. goal

GOAL: Charlton 0-3 Southamptonpublished at 12:51 GMT

    Caspar Jander (20 mins)

Southampton are rattling the goals in now!

The Saints make it three goals in six minutes, and this time it's Adam Armstrong that tees Caspar Jander up.

Armstrong send Jander free with a lovely through ball, and the German keeps his cool to score.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:48 GMT

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

Swansea's interception works out and gives the visitors an opportunity to mount an attack.

It's pinged around the final third before Liam Cullen smashes it goal-bound from just outside the box.

It takes a small little nick on the way to take off the pace but Radek Vitek still needs to dive down low to parry it out for a corner.

That'll have interim boss Darren O'Dea feeling much more pleased.

  5. Postpublished at 12:48 GMT

    Coventry 0-1 West Brom

Now Josh Eccles cuts out Chris Mepham's poor pass at the back but the Coventry man's shot is blocked.

We have a free kick for West Brom and an injury stoppage - a chance for us all to take a breath.

    It's great though!

  6. 'The best move of the match for Coventry'published at 12:48 GMT

    Coventry 0-1 West Brom

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

The best move of the match for Coventry.

Sakamoto does really well, Simms gets it and realises he can't strike it so he drops it off for Torp and it's great technique from him, it just kisses the top of the bar.

West Brom have a big back four, it may be a cut-back for a midfielder that will be more effective than normal.

  7. goal

GOAL: Charlton 0-2 Southamptonpublished at 12:48 GMT

    Adam Armstrong (16 mins)

It's two in three minutes from Southampton!

Adam Armstrong has had a few nibbles today, and he needs two bites at this opportunity to score.

Brazilian forward Leo Scienza creates the opportunity, as he races down the middle of the park.

He links up with Armstrong, who finishes with his second attempt after having his first blocked.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:47 GMT

    Coventry 0-1 West Brom

Ellis Simms shields the ball back to Victor Torp.

The Dane strikes first time from the edge of the area and his effort thumps off Carl Rushworth's crossbar with the goalkeeper beaten.

    Breathless...

  9. goal

GOAL: Charlton 0-1 Southamptonpublished at 12:45 GMT

    Ryan Manning (14 mins)

    It's been coming!

Southampton have the lead they fully deserve after 14 minutes of domination.

Ryan Manning breaks the deadlock with a powerful header from a brilliantly placed cross from Tom Fellows.

    Charlton 0-0 Southamton

How Southampton aren't 1-0 up at this point is amazing.

It's a poor touch from Finn Azaz that lets the Saints man down in the box. It allows Charlton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski to smother the shot.

And from the resulting corner, Ryan Manning flashes a fierce effort just wide.

Plenty of encouragement for Saints' interim boss Tonda Eckert.

    Coventry 0-1 West Brom

A huge chance for 2-0 to the visitors.

Aune Heggebo gets away from his marker but heads straight at Carl Rushworth.

Coventry looking rattled at the back.

  12. Postpublished at 12:44 GMT

    Coventry 0-1 West Brom

Aune Heggebo's early goal is his second in two matches for West Brom.

He also got the winner against Oxford a fortnight ago - he's finding his feet in the Championship.

A cross to the far post almost catches out the Baggies but Ellis Simms fails to get a proper connection on his header.

    Lively stuff.

  13. Postpublished at 12:42 GMT

    Charlton 0-0 Southampton

Adam Armstrong has had a busy first 10 minutes at The Valley.

He lines up an effort from outside the box, but lashes over. Charlton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski was never troubled.

  14. Postpublished at 12:42 GMT

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

Bristol City's Emil Riis tries a cheeky little backheel in the box but it's not fast enough to sneak past Swansea's defence.

The Robins appear to be finding the spaces rather easily though.

Swansea will need to keep on their toes if they don't want this scoreline to be as harsh a read as their last outing against Ipswich Town.

  15. 'A great start for Albion'published at 12:42 GMT

    Coventry 0-1 West Brom

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

Mikey Johnston has done well there, won the ball back, it was poor play from Coventry.

He spotted Heggebo on the run and all he has to do is get his foot behind it and place it, he was in the right place and the right time.

    A great start for Albion!

  16. goal

GOAL: Coventy 0-1 West Brompublished at 12:40 GMT

    Aune Heggebo (9 mins)

    Against the run of play...

West Brom win the ball deep in the Coventry half and Mikey Johnston's cross is perfect for Aune Heggebo to tap home past Carl Rushworth.

A third Championship goal of the season for the Norwegian international.

  17. CLOSE!published at 12:39 GMT

    Charlton 0-0 Southampton

It's another could have and should have moment for Charlton.

An inviting cross is floated into the box by Tom Fellows, but Adam Armstrong can only balloon his header over the bar.

  18. 'Matos not here yet'published at 12:38 GMT

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Ashton Gate

Apparently prospective new Swansea boss Vitor Matos is not here yet and he's already missed a goal, Rob Dickie heading Bristol City in front from a corner in the fourth minute.

Defensive set-pieces on the menu when the former Liverpool development coach takes his first training session with the Swans, then.

  19. Postpublished at 12:38 GMT

    Coventry 0-0 West Brom

Coventry have got West Brom hemmed in - the visitors just can't get the ball clear properly.

A long throw has been defended, as has a corner - the home side are swarming all over them but goalkeeper Josh Griffiths is yet to be tested.

  20. CLOSE!published at 12:37 GMT

    Charlton 0-0 Southampton

A huge chance for Southampton goes begging.

After some excellent work from Adam Armstrong, who pulls the ball back into the area, Caspar Jander sends an effort wide from close range.

There was traffic ahead of him, but he really should have got that on target.
