Three games, two wins, three clean sheets and seven points - caretaker boss Alan Sheehan is doing a decent job of auditioning for the Swansea head coach's job.

This was another impressive victory for a Swansea side who look rejuvenate having lost their way in the latter stages of Luke Williams' reign.

They were worthy winners against a disappointing Middlesbrough, who never really looked like building on their triumphs over Stoke and Derby.

"Alan Sheehan, we want you to stay," was the chant from a number of home fans after the final whistle.

The bottom ten places in the Championship

Derby are off the bottom with their first win under John Eustace over his former club Blackburn and Cardiff's loss at Sunderland cuts the gap to safety to four points.

Plymouth and Luton both suffered heavy defeats.

Stoke came from 2-0 down at Coventry only to lose 3-2 in the 97th minute to remain in trouble.

There's a lot of football to be played but the final day of the season pits Derby against Stoke.

Hull City spent a long time playing with 10 men at Bristol City but earned what could prove to be a crucial point in a 1-1 draw.

Sheffield United's win over Preston moves them level on points with the leaders Leeds ahead of their game at Portsmouth tomorrow but just look at the Whites' huge goal difference.

Burnley have maintained their pursuit of the top two by brushing aside 10-man Luton and that game with Sheffield United next month looks huge.

In fourth place, Sunderland beat Cardiff while Coventry and West Brom also won. By the way, Coventry host Sunderland next weekend.

Bristol City drew and Blackburn lost but remain well in touch but Middlesbrough were beaten at Swansea and Norwich drew last night.

Blackburn didn't know what hit them in the first 10 minutes.

We knew Blackburn would come into it the second half and credit to the new manager he changed it up.

Delighted for the club, we got the result that mattered which could be huge for the season.

Zetterstrom was still on his knees when he flung the ball away, looked skyward, punched the air and screamed with joy.

It's a huge victory that moves Derby off the bottom of the table and ends their 12-game winless league run.
