    Eom Ji-Sung has waited a long time for his first goal in English football, but it has finally come in his 30th appearance since joining Swansea from South Korean side Gwangju last summer.

    Eom has missed a string of far easier chances this season than the one he has just converted, a superb effort from outside the box which left Middlesbrough keeper Mark Travers clutching at thin air.

    Boro, meanwhile, have barely got started in this game.

    They simply have to improve as the contest goes on, you would think.
