Summary

  1. Postpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 11 May

    Livingston 0-1 St Johnstone

Adama Sidibeh sends Nicky Clark through on goal with a neat pass, but the Saints number 10 is thwarted by another fine Shamal George save.

A much more even game now, with both teams getting forward regularly.

  2. St Mirren seek a way backpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 11 May

    St Mirren 0-1 Kilmarnock

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Scotland in Paisley

Killie may be leading this one, but it's far from comfy as St Mirren have made a decent start to the second half.

The visiting fans are still in full voice, they're maybe a bit more confident than their manager who's down on the touchline kicking every ball with his players.

  3. Postpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 11 May

    Ross County 1-2 Motherwell

Motherwell have started the second half brightly with a succession of crosses flying into the Ross County box.

No clear-cut chances though, and the passage of play ends with Theo Bair conceding a free kick for a push.

  4. goal

GOAL Hearts 2-0 Dundeepublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 11 May

    Alan Forrest

Alan Forrest beats the offside trap to latch on to a lovely Barrie McKay to speed away, round goalkeeper Jon McCracken and roll in Hearts' second.

Another assist for McKay and too easy from Dundee's point of view.

    Hearts goal
  5. Postpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 11 May

    Hearts 1-0 Dundee

The temperature is telling as players are already operating at a slightly less intense pace even this early in the second half.

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:11 British Summer Time 11 May

    Livingston 0-1 St Johnstone

Shamal George rushes across his goal-line to parry out Cammy MacPherson's in-swinging corner.

The Livi goalkeeper's clearance only gets as far as Stevie May, who blasts over on the turn.

  7. We're up and running againpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 11 May

    Ross County 1-2 Motherwell

Three changes for the hosts at the interval.

Josh Sims, Jordan White, and Loick Ayina all enter the match.

Eamonn Brophy, Josh Reid, and Ryan Leak depart.

  8. Subs will play a part on sizzling daypublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 11 May

    HT: Hearts 1-0 Dundee

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland at Tynecastle

It’s been quite entertaining, with both sets of players showing up in warm sunshine. This will certainly be a game where substitutes will have to be used.

Don’t rule out a Dundee comeback as Luke McCowan and Lyall Cameron have been a real threat to the home defence.

  9. A slender St Johnstone leadpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 11 May

    HT: Livingston 0-1 St Johnstone

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Almondvale

St Johnstone leading, but towards the break it became far less comfortable for the Perth side, who will need to keep levels high in order to get over the line in the second half and secure what would be a priceless three points.

Livingston will be grateful to goalkeeper Shamal George who repelled a few decent chances Saints had, although he’ll couldn’t keep out Adama Sidibeh’s effort which was accurately finished into the top right corner.

  10. Title is 'long shot' now - Clementpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 11 May

    FT: Celtic 2-1 Rangers

    Philippe ClementImage source, SNS

Rangers manager Philippe Clement tells BBC Scotland: "Of course, disappointed at losing. Mostly disappointed about first 20 minutes when we weren't aggressive enough.

"Also in the decision making in the tackle and getting a red card because that changed the game.

"We had our chances and made our goal. At half-time, the xG of the teams is similar. If you stay with 11, it's another story.

"To speak about positive things, the team kept on fighting and made it difficult for Celtic. There was a lot of tension in the stadium because my team kept fighting. That's what I demand of them.

"John [Lundstram] made a bad decision and he knows [that]. We don't forget everything he has done for the team. Now it's looking forward.

"Everybody felt there was still a chance. You need to take those moments and we were not clinical enough.

"We need to recover fast and get the three points against Dundee."

Asked if the title is Celtic's, he adds: "I never accept until it's mathematically sure. It's a long shot now."

  11. 'Finish line in touching distance' - Rodgerspublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 11 May

    FT: Celtic 2-1 Rangers

    Brendan RodgersImage source, SNS

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland: "A brilliant result, Celtic v Rangers games are always about winning. The players gave everything and I'm so pleased for them.

"I thought we were outstanding up until the penalty, ironically. The energy in the stadium was incredible.

"We switched off for their goal, they should never get in at that moment.

"We have to be much better in that moment, it takes a wee bit of energy out of us missing the penalty.

"We made the game really tense at the end when there was no need for it to be.

"To beat Rangers for the third time this season, I tip my hat to the players for their mentality and their ability to get the job done.

"We're not over the line yet, but we're in a great place. I just said to the players we aren't over the line yet.

"Living rooms and bars and clubs around the world will be celebrating the victory, but we need to recover and look to finish the job on Wednesday night (away to Kilmarnock).

"It hasn't been a perfect season for us. The players have kept believing and progressing. When we've had those challenging moments, we stayed very unified and together.

"It's always the best team that wins after 38 games. We're not there yet, but the finish line is in touching distance."

  14. HALF-TIME Ross County 1-2 Motherwellpublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 11 May

Motherwell took an early lead after a Ross Laidlaw blunder presented Blair Spittal with a gift and restored their advantage just prior to the break after Paul McGinn profited from another Laidlaw error.

Ross County equalised through a well-taken Simon Murray effort and enjoyed a period of dominance but could not get in front despite a glut of chances.

As it stands, the hosts have slipped back into the relegation play-off spot behind St Johnstone.

  15. HALF-TIME St Mirren 0-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:53 British Summer Time 11 May

Kilmarnock are within 45 minutes of sealing Europa League football.

Kyle Vassell’s well-taken effort, capping a lethal counterattack, separates the teams.

The Kilmarnock captain pounced after Danny Armstrong seized upon a weak St Mirren pass, before feeding Marley Watkins who teed up Vassell.

It’s otherwise been a game of few chances. Toyosi Olusanya has been lively for the hosts, lashing a volley over, while Robbie Deas produced a heroic sliding challenge to prevent Mikael Mandron loping clean through.

At the other end, Watkins drove narrowly wide after menacing down the left and Armstrong has made some tricky, darting runs.

The game finely poised and a vital second half ahead.

  17. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 11 May

The visitors grabbed a deserved early lead through Adama Sidibeh.

Livingston number one Shamal George then kept the scoreline down with a number of strong saves.

Already-relegated Livi have since fought their way back into the game but have not been able to find a way past Dimitar Mitov.

That goal has certainly livened things up here in Paisley and the travelling fans, all set for European adventures next season, have burst into song. Right now, fourth place is Killie's.

  20. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 11 May

    Livingston 0-1 St Johnstone

St Johnstone attempted 10 shots inside the opening 18 minutes, but have only had two in the following 25 minutes.

Adama Sidibeh staying down after an innocuous chase for the ball is a worry for Craig Levein, also.
