The host's have failed to win in their last 34 matches when conceding the opening goal in the Scottish Premiership. This one could get ugly if they do not improve.

  3. goal

GOAL Ross County 1-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 11 May

    Simon Murray

Ross County break on the counter as a long-range Motherwell attempt is blocked.

Eamonn Brophy makes a move for it but he's bundled over, the ball falls for Eli King who slides it perfectly for Murray to burst onto in the visitor's half.

He takes it to the edge of the box, has a look at Liam Kelly, and slots it underneath him for his 13th league goal this season.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:16 British Summer Time 11 May

    St Mirren 0-0 Kilmarnock

First whiff of a chance in Paisley as a long throw is hurled into the home box and ricochets back for Liam Donnelly.

The midfielder's volley on the edge of the box zips a yard or so wide.

A moment later, Zach Hemming wallops a clearance straight off Kyle Vassell, but fortunately for the home stopper, the ball flies into the stand.

Up the other end, a ball breaks for Toyosi Olusanya but he lashes well over from 20 yards.

  6. Saint Sidibehpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 11 May

    Livingston 0-1 St Johnstone

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Almondvale

Really positive start by St Johnstone. They’ll be ruing the three missed opportunities but then Adama Sidibeh pops up to put the visitors in front.

The Gambian player nets his third goal of the season and settles the Saints’ nerves early on.

Livingston are all over the place at the moment.

  7. goal

GOAL Ross County 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 11 May

    Blair Spittal

    Deary, deary me.

Liam Kelly fizzes a ball through the middle of the pitch and it looks as though Ross Laidlaw will gather it with ease.

The Ross County goalkeeper goes to collect it down low to the right but he inexplicably palms it into the path of Spittal who slots it home into the open net.

Laidlaw holds his hands up immediately, he knows that's catastrophic.

  8. goal

GOAL Livingston 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 11 May

    Adama Sidibeh

St Johnstone are rewarded for their strong start.

Just moments after Stevie May and Adama Sidibeh were both denied by two strong Shamal George stops, the former's scuffed effort finds the latter at the back post and Sidibeh makes no mistake in slotting the ball home.

  9. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 11 May

    Hearts 0-0 Dundee

A great tackle by Dundee's Ryan Astley as he prevents Alan Forrest connecting with Keith Vargas' cut-back.

Like his namesake Rick, Astley wasn't going to give that up.

  10. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 11 May

    Ross County 0-0 Motherwell

Andy Halliday picks up the ball on the edge of the area, with plenty of time to pick his spot, but he blasts it straight at County keeper Ross Laidlaw who tips it over.

A strong start from the visitors.

  11. Touching tributepublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 11 May

    St Mirren 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Scotland in Paisley

Lovely moment before kick-off as there was a minutes' applause for St Mirren fans who've passed away this season. Both managers and both sets of fans joined in to paid tribute.

Paisley is bathed in sunshine and the stadium is packed to the rafters, almost 8,000 fans inside for this one, with plenty to play for.

    FT: Celtic 2-1 Rangers

    Leanne Crichton
Former Scotland international on BBC Sportscene

They've gone unbeaten in the Old Firm games, that has been Celtic's saving grace.

Rangers stumbled at the point nobody expected them to because they were in such a good place.

Celtic should have this league at a canter. When you look at the two teams, they're miles ahead. The gulf is huge.

The gulf should only get bigger because of the financial gain from winning this league and getting into the Champions League.

Rangers shouldn't be getting close to Celtic for a number of years now.

  17. Watson's 'running power' earns him starting berthpublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 11 May

    St Mirren v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Radio Scotland: "We’re in a strong position and want to finish job off as quickly as possible and finish fourth.

"Although we have a good record against St Mirren there’s not been a lot between the games. We ran out 5-2 winners at Rugby Park but it was a game of two halves.

"David Watson has had a fantastic campaign. We’ve tried to protect him a wee bit, he does pick up a lot of bookings, and we don’t want that overlapping into next season, and Liam Polworth and Liam Donnelly have done terrifically as a pairing.

"We just feel this game might be a wee bit more untidy and less possession-based, and David’s running power and competitiveness in the middle of the pitch won him the nod to start."

  18. Martindale says Muirhead signing a 'no-brainer'published at 14:54 British Summer Time 11 May

    Livingston v St Johnstone (15:00)

Livingston manager David Martindale tells BBC Scotland: "I think we need to go out and win the next game of football.

"Sporting integrity comes into this also, we aren’t going to down tools and see the season out. That would be disrespectful to the league, Ross County and St Johnstone. For that alone, there is still something to play for."

Martindale also touched on the impending summer signing of Greenock Morton forward Robbie Muirhead.

"David Hopkin put me on his radar. I keep in contact with Dougie (Imrie) and he has told me how well Robbie has done. Something around 40 goals in the last three seasons, so it was a no-brainer at that level.

"From a financial view, you’re looking at players who can play two or three positions. And to be honest, it takes 15 or so goals away from Morton."

  19. Cowie wants 'best version' of Staggiespublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 11 May

    Ross County v Motherwell (15:00)

Ross County manager Don Cowie wants his side to keep the momentum going as they try to secure their top-flight status.

"Nothing changes, we’ve got three important games to go," he tells BBC Radio Scotland.

"The home form's been really good and we have to take real belief from that.

"We’ve got another game at home today and it’s about showing the same attitude and playing on the front foot against a really good team.

"We just have to bring the best version of ourselves today."

  20. 'Work to do' for St Mirren - Robinsonpublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 11 May

    St Mirren v Kilmarnock (15:00)

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Radio Scotland: "We need to secure Europe, we know there is still a lot of work to do.

"Ryan Strain was ill this week and he might not give us the whole game. Scott Tanser had a calf problem and Greg Kiltie didn’t make it due to a virus. They’ve earned the right to keep the team and it’s up to them to remain in the team because we’ve got a lot of competition."
