Droughts not routs to end the weekpublished at 22:23 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November
FT: West Brom 0-0 Burnley
An unusual mid-week round of matches is at a close. While the games were high on intrigue, they were rather low on goals, just 20 were scored across the 12 matches in the round, and none tonight at all between West Brom and Burnley.
Scott Parker will be the happier manager with the performance, but Carlos Corberan might feel fortunate to have come away with a result after Jaidon Anthony's goal was controversially disallowed.
They remain winless since 21 September and having drawn six straight games for the first time in history, however.
The good news is we don't have long to wait for more Championship fun. The next round of games kicks off in less than 24 hours as Watford host Oxford United tomorrow night.
We'll be right here for that, plus another eight games on Saturday while on Sunday we have the Steel City derby, West Brom's trip to Hull City and Burnley at home to Swansea.
Best get some rest now, you're going to need your energy over the next few days!
Thanks for your company this evening, goodnight!
