    Barnsley 0-0 Birmingham

Blues keeper Ryan Allsop called into action again just before the break as Adam Phillips has an effort after Corey O'Keefe's break down the right, but the keeper flops to his left to gather.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Doncaster 0-1 Cheltenham

Cheltenham deserve their lead at the interval.

The first 45 minutes has seen two yellow cards and the one goal which was Owen Bailey putting through his own net.

  3. Postpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Barnsley 0-0 Birmingham

Into FIVE added minutes at Oakwell after that early injury to Blues left-back Alex Cochrane.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Wycombe 1-1 Reading

Beryly Lubala's early opener had the Chairboys in front but Harvey Knibbs turned home a loose ball to level proceedings in an absorbing encounter at Adams Park.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Burton 0-0 Wrexham

Just like at Lincoln earlier, there's a lack of action to report, probably because of the weather.

Mason Bennett has had the only shot on target for Burton, and Elliot Lee just went close with a free kick. Surely the second half can only get better?

    I won't hold my breath.

  6. A bit 'sloppy' at Oakwellpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Barnsley 0-0 Birmingham

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

It has got a bit sloppy in the last four or five minutes, and if you think a chance was going to come from anyone you would say it would be Barnsley.

  7. Postpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Barnsley 0-0 Birmingham

    Reds are on the march.

Mael de Gevigney's cross from the right is met by the head of Adam Phillips, but Blues keeper Ryan Allsop makes a routine save.

  8. League Two latestpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

Chesterfield have the lead over Tranmere thanks to Ryan Colclough.

Justin Obikwu has a second in 15 minutes for Grimsby who now lead 2-0 at Morecambe.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Doncaster 0-1 Cheltenham

The ball falls to Joel Colwill in the area and he fires well at goal but Donny stopper Teddy Sharman-Lowe makes a crucial save.

  10. Postpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Wycombe 1-1 Reading

Reading trying to turn this one on its head, Charlie Savage lets fly with his left foot from just outside the box but Wanderers keeper Franco Ravizzoli is able to stop his effort and grab the ball at the second attempt.

  11. 'Wycombe will have to keep the ball'published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Wycombe 1-1 Reading

    Geoff Doyle
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

It's a good game - so far. But Wycombe will have to keep the ball to get a chance against Reading who are playing very quick.

Obviously, Reading were a Championship team and you can tell, they are very good on the ball.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Barnsley 0-0 Birmingham

Stephen Humphrys is in the middle of everything for Barnsley, he brings a ball over the top from skipper Luca Connell under his spell in the area, eventually going down under pressure from Krystian Bielik, but seeing his appeal for a penalty to referee Thomas Parsons waved away.

Tykes boss Darrell Clarke is booked for taking his protests too far while the home fans chant an opinion about the official's suitability to take charge of a football match.

  13. League One latestpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    #bbcefl

Second goal for Cambridge against Shrewsbury and it is Shayne Lavery again! Swift counter attack, brilliant left-foot finish.

And like London buses, incredibly all the action kicks off at Mansfield. Adedeji Oshilaja levelled for the hosts just moments before Josh Koroma restored Huddersfield's lead.

He raced through after a great pass picked him out and finished well.

  14. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Wycombe 1-1 Reading

    Dan George
    BBC Sport

    We are level!

A mess at the back by Wycombe and Harvey Knibbs eventually slots it home, shushing the Wanderers' terrace stand.

A few challenges and chants by the fans give this a real grudge match feel.

Pandemonium in the Reading end with near 1,900 of them. I think the term is limbs!

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Doncaster 0-1 Cheltenham

    Second yellow of this tie.

Kyle Hurst sees yellow after a late challenge on away skipper Luke Young.

  16. Postpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Doncaster 0-1 Cheltenham

Jordan Thomas again in the action having drawn the first card of the game not long ago.

He hits one from distance now, but it keeps on rising over the bar.

  17. 'Blues are looking really well defensively'published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Barnsley 0-0 Birmingham

I've been impressed with Birmingham, they are dealing with the conditions well, and have got some control over the game now.

Barnsley are certainly looking to play the ball quickly and looking to play it into wide areas, but Blues are looking really well defensively.

  18. goal

GOAL Wycombe 1-1 Readingpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Harvey Knibbs (29 mins)

Harvey Knibbs equalises for Reading at WycombeImage source, Rex Features

    Back on terms...

Wycombe were guilty of some calamitous defending as they fell 2-0 down early at Exeter on Tuesday and Matt Bloomfield won't want to watch this one back either.

Sam Smith pounces on a mistake at the back and though his effort is saved by Franco Ravizzoli, Harvey Knibbs capitalises to walk the loose ball into the net to restore parity.

The first goal of the Noel Hunt era at Reading.

  19. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Barnsley 0-0 Birmingham

Krystian Bielik to the rescue for Blues as his last-ditch challenge prevents Stephen Humprhys from getting a shot in on Ryan Allsop's goal after a nice throughball from Corey O'Keefe, another former Blues man.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Doncaster 0-1 Cheltenham

    First card of this one.

Jordan Thomas cleverly beats Jay McGrath before he's brought down.

Yellow for the Rovers number 25.
