    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

From an attacking perspective, the only Spurs player to impress so far has been James Maddison. Largely, they have been very poor.

Here Maddison is fed in the Tamworth area by Timo Werner, but he can't get the ball out of his feet and his eventual shot is easily saved by Jas Singh.

    Hull 0-0 Doncaster

A familiar pattern has already emerged at the start of the second half as Hull dominate on the ball but panic going forward.

This time around Joao Pedro picks the ball up in strong position but slashes a shot high and wide.

Hull have won only one of their past 10 at home and two of their last 18. Finishing might be why.

Nicholas: Not happy with the tactics from Spurs. You have pace from Werner and Johnson yet we aren't trying to run in behind.

Enoru has got the beating of Pedro Porro every single time. He is happy to go inside or outside.

  5. Postpublished at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

Pedro Porro shoves Beck-Ray Enoru to the floor as they compete for a long ball. A sign of Spurs frustration?

Tamworth have won a corner - but it's an easy claim for Antonin Kinsky.

Pedro Porro gets himself into a good position with a lot of space, he's got to be doing better there.

What a great story it would be if a team who play like part-timers were to beat a Premier League giant today. I am of course referring to Man Utd beating Arsenal.

    Hull 0-0 Doncaster

We go again. The second half kicks off in Yorkshire.

  9. Postpublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs' final balls have been really poor so far, Pedro Porro the latest man to overhit a cross.

    Ange Postecoglou must be furious.

Credit to Singh, he has read the situation and got a strong hand. He doesn't parry it into any oncoming players - he pushes it to safety.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

The first real moment of Premier League quality, as James Maddison nutmegs Ben Milnes then curls a shot towards the bottom corner from 22 yards.

Jas Singh goes full length to his left to make a fine save.

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

30 minutes played, and Tamworth are bang in this game.

Spurs have a corner now, though - headed away at the near post.

There's a bite to this Tamworth-Tottenham game. Spurs' young players just don't look up to the task. I'm not necessarily calling an upset, but I am calling a tighter game than it should be.

Radu Dragusin heads the throw in away. Spurs have dealt with the Tonks catapult fairly well so far.

Beck-Ray Enoru is ok to continue for now.

  15. Postpublished at 13:02 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

This could be bad news for Tamworth. Beck-Ray Enoru, so lively in the early stages, is holding his hamstring and needs treatment.

Enoru stepped on the ball before and trod awkwardly, hopefully he can carry on.

When play resumes, Tamworth have a throw. Tonks time...

Tamworth are trying to be a bit too precise at times. With the pace of Enoru, just stick it in behind - make Pedro Porro's day very difficult by running his back towards goal.

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

Twice in the Premier League era has a non-league side beaten a top division team - Norwich 0-1 Luton in 2013, and Burnley 0-1 Lincoln in 2017.

Tamworth are doing most things right as they aim to join that exclusive club.

Tamworth really giving a good account of themselves here. Wouldn’t be surprised if some of these lads get some Premier League interest in the summer. Easy to forget that Jamie Vardy once played non-league.

  19. Postpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs are seeing plenty of ball in midfield, but have not put together to many dangerous attacks yet.

Timo Werner brilliantly controls a ball with the outside of his boot, but then overhits the final pass.

  20. Postpublished at 12:56 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Tamworth 0-0 Tottenham

Tamworth are one of very few part-time teams in the National League, and are seven points above the relegation zone as a newly promoted side. They are used to scrapping in games and defending deep, so today will be familiar to them.

At the 20 minute mark, they are holding their own.
