  1. CLOSE!published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Walsall 5-1 Tranmere

Albert Adomah wants in on the act, collecting a short free-kick and whipping in a low curler from 20 yards which Luke McGee does really well to gather low down.

Tricky those once which bounce just infront of you.

Tommy Simkin gets a let off at the other end as he races off his line but is beaten to a bouncing ball by Josh Davison who can only nod wide of the unguarded target from the edge of the box.

    Seconds remain...

  2. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 3-1 Boltonpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    John McAtee (86 mins)

Probably just a consolation for Bolton...

Dion Charles slips John McAtee in behind and he finishes well, firing low into the bottom corner across the goalkeeper with his left foot.

Could Wanderers stage an unlikely late comeback?

  3. Postpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Walsall 5-1 Tranmere

Tranmere just want to get on the bus.

Cameron Norman gets barracked by the home fans after running the ball out of play near his own area.

Last couple of minutes of the 90, plus a few additional minutes to endure, you'd expect.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Walsall 5-1 Tranmere

Nathan Lowe heads off to a nice reception too with Ryan Stirk and Harry Williams joining him in the big coats on the Walsall bench.

Danny Johnson, Donervorn Daniels and Brandon Comley replace the trio.

Sol Solomon and Connor Wood are also on for the visitors in place of Kieron Morris and Zak Bradshaw.

  5. Postpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 3-0 Bolton

And now there are ironic cheers from the home fans as Bolton string a few passes together. It's turning into a bleak day for the visitors.

  6. 'Strong performance from Rotherham'published at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 3-0 Bolton

    Ronnie Moore
Ex-Rotherham manager on BBC Radio Sheffield

Baxter dropped down to his left to palm the ball away but it was Nombe there to follow up.

Some unrest with the Bolton fans as an 'Evatt Out' banner has led to some trouble, but that's not Rotherham's problem.

Really strong performance from them today.

  7. Postpublished at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 3-0 Bolton

Rotherham are 10 minutes plus stoppages away from a fourth win in a row against Bolton in the EFL.

It'll be the first time the Millers have ever beaten the Trotters four times in a row if they can see it out. Barring a very unlikely collapse, they're about to do just that.

Bolton manager Ian Evatt shouts instructions to his playersImage source, Rex Features

It's all getting a bit unpleasant in the away end... Bolton Wanderers fans are holding up an "Evatt out" sign and chanting they want boss Ian Evatt to leave.

  9. 'I thought he nearly missed it'published at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Walsall 5-1 Tranmere

    Tom Heslop
Member of Walsall media team on BBC WM

Credit to Harry Williams there, the ball to Adomah is excellent, and the quality that Adomah brings to this side is so important.

Puts it into the path of Lowe, I thought he nearly missed it, but no!

  10. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 3-0 Boltonpublished at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Sam Nombe (76 mins)

    Game over.

A long ball is pinged over the top for Mallik Wilks who nods it in front of him and hits a powerful low shot towards the near post.

Bolton keeper Nathan Baxter can only parry it straight out into the path of the onrushing Sam Nombe who slams into the empty net for his fifth goal of the season.

  11. Postpublished at 14:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 2-0 Bolton

Aaron Morley takes aim from the edge of the box for Bolton and his shot is deflected wide.

Morley then sends in a corner from the left along the deck but the ref spots a foul by John McAtee and the attack fizzles out.

  12. goal

GOAL Walsall 5-1 Tranmerepublished at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Nathan Lowe (80 mins)

    He's been quiet... too quiet.

That's 15 for the season in League Two for the 19-year-old Stoke loanee.

He races in to meet Albert Adomah's low cross from the right with a cool finish off the inside of the post. No chance for Luke McGee.

You feel if Lowe is still at Walsall in February then the Saddlers won't be in League Two next season.

The first time Walsall have struck five at the Bescot in more than five years.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Walsall 4-1 Tranmere

No Matt-trick today but Jamille Matt heads off to a rousing reception from the home fans.

He's been excellent at both ends of the field today and has two goals to show for it.

Albert Adomah comes on to cause the Rovers defenders more headaches in the final 15-odd minutes.

  14. Postpublished at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 2-0 Bolton

Bolton's Dion Charles controls well on his chest, spins on it and fires over the bar on the volley. He's looked bright since coming on, has Charles.

Wanderers probably need to keep getting the ball to him if they're to salvage anything.

  15. 'Saddlers have been excellent'published at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Walsall 4-1 Tranmere

    Tom Heslop
Member of Walsall media team on BBC WM

He hasn't done an awful lot in the game, but when it comes down to those moments he's there. He's got confidence oozing out of him and I'm so glad Jellis has got that goal there.

I'm really pleased to see us go and kill the game off here. The Saddlers have been excellent.

  16. goal

GOAL Walsall 4-1 Tranmerepublished at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Jamie Jellis (72 mins)

    Game over! Title race over?

Jamie Jellis takes advantage of some tired legs, being played down the left into space by Nathan Lowe before cutting inside a defender and thumping in a left-footed shot which might have ended up in the net off the combination of Luke McGee's boot and a defender's shin.

Mat Sadler won't care. His side are 13 points clear.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:03 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 2-0 Bolton

Rotherham boss Steve Evans makes his first change of the game and Cohen Bramall is on for Alex MacDonald.

  18. 'What a miss'published at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 2-0 Bolton

    Jack Dearden
    BBC Radio Manchester commentator

What a miss, what an opportunity!

Dion Charles with a huge chance. How did he miss that there? Schon with the cross and Charles has to score.

Bolton's best chance of the game, he made good contact but it was wide of the Rotherham upright.

  19. Postpublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Walsall 3-1 Tranmere

Taylor Allen is the latest to drive forward from midfield for Walsall but after getting into the mixer he can only prod a low effort into the shins of a defender when a pass might have been a better option.

  20. CLOSE!published at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Rotherham 2-0 Bolton

Bolton striker Dion Charles misses from close rangeImage source, Rex Features

Bolton should be back in it!

Dion Charles gets on the end of a teasing ball across the face of goal from Szabolcs Schon but can't find the target from about six yards out.

By far the biggest chance of the game so far for the Trotters and it goes begging.
