After losing four consecutive league games against Crystal Palace between 2018 and 2019, Burnley are now unbeaten in their last five against the Eagles (W3 D2).
After a run of 11 Premier League meetings that saw either Burnley (6) or Crystal Palace (5) emerge victorious, the last two games between the sides in 2021-22 both ended level (3-3 at Turf Moor, 1-1 at Selhurst Park).
Burnley have lost all five of their Premier League home games this season – they could become the first team in English top-flight history to lose each of their first six in a campaign, and third in English league history overall after Newport County in 1970-71 (fourth tier) and Watford in 1990-91 (second).
