The positive news for Arsenal is that Wolves have a recent success at the Etihad Stadium.

The bad news is that of today's squad, only Matt Doherty and Maximilian Kilman were involved in the 2-0 win in 2019. Both were substitutes and Kilman stayed there throughout.

Wolves also beat City at Molineux earlier this season.

But they were in good form then. Wolves' season has tailed off since they conceded two injury-time goals to Coventry in the FA Cup quarter-finals in March.

I was at Newcastle for 12 years. They are so passionate for their football club. They are fighting for the top six.

If they can get top six, then it will be a brilliant season. With the Champions League campaign, with the injuries and Tonali being out for the whole season.

We played well and bounced back from going down and got the goals we deserved. It is nice to get the goals and help the team but it was more important that I helped the team today.

"I want to help the team and get more goals and assists. Hopefully there are many more to come. When I hit the post I was thinking is it going to go in or not. The more you shoot, the more chance it has of going in. I am happy to help the team."

On his second goal being a contender for Goal of the Month: "Hopefully the boys get more goals in this month. Hopefully, many more to come. "

On the tactical switch in the second half: "I think for us, we wanted more mobility and keep moving around to create chances. It was just a case of keep moving to open up more spaces and get more goals.

"It is a really important three points and we go again. We know where we are in the table and want to get out of that position. Hopefully we stay safe. The fans were fantastic and we need their support in the last two games."

But I wouldn't be against Man City at home. They are well-drilled and they know the system that they are going to play.

They will have guessed Arsenal will have won today and they will take care of business.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola lays it on the line in his programme notes this afternoon.

He didn't know Arsenal would be four points clear when he team took to the field against Wolves this evening.

But I reckon he guessed they would be. And he doesn't expect Arsenal to drop any points judging by the demands he is putting on his team.

"We know we have to be perfect if we want to win the Premier League," he says.

"We will do everything we can to win it again. I promise you guys that."

If City even draw a game, it will let Arsenal in because the Gunners have a better goal difference.

At lunchtime Arsenal thrashed Bournemouth 3-0.

It means the pressure in the title race has swung back on to Manchester City.

But, win all their remaining games and it's four in a row for Pep Guardiola's side. Dropped points at this stage are a no no.

We've got one game to go in the Premier League with title-chasing Manchester City hosting Wolves, who are hoping to do the double over the champions.
