The Ederson situation is a bit odd.
The Manchester City keeper was injured enough six days ago to have to come off at Nottingham Forest and leave the City Ground with his arm in a sling.
But he is fit enough to keep his place today. The Brazilian's shoulder must have impressive recovery powers.

VAR had checked for encroachment during the penalty, but play was eventually waved on and Newcastle poured forward again with Jacob Murphy playing in Isak right in front of the Burnley goal.
