    • Unbeaten Bromley lead Cheltenham 1-0 thanks to Omar Sowunmi's goal.
    • As are Harrogate against Barrow. Shawn McCoulsky with the goal there.
    • Crawley are also one up against MK Dons.
    • Swindon v Barnet and Bristol Rovers v Oldham are both 0-0.
  4. 'A very watchable first half'published at 20:43 British Summer Time 19 August

    HT: Huddersfield 0-0 Doncaster

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

It was a very watchable first half between two of the very early front runners in the league.

Doncaster Rovers have picked up where they left off by winning League Two last season. They have played fluid football and a really well organised midfield with an aggressive press.

Even Huddersfield Town have really had trouble playing their way round.

There is lots to look forward to in the second half and lots to say for Lee Grant in the dressing room.

Barnsley celebrate Caylan Vickers' goal at PeterboroughImage source, Rex Features

Away from our feature games, here are the League One headlines:

    • Peterborough have had the chances but it's Barnsley who take the lead and it was a lovely strike from Caylan Vickers who is on loan form Brighton with his second goal of the season.
    • Luton lead Wigan 1-0 thanks to George Saville's goal.
    • Freddie Draper's goal has Lincoln in front against Northampton.
    • It's goalless everywhere else.
  6. Postpublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 19 August

    Newport 0-1 Salford

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Rodney Parade

Salford lead at Newport, thanks to a cushioned volley from centre-back Adebola Oluwo that would have made most strikers proud.

That's Oluwo's second goal of the season already.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 19 August

    Tranmere 1-1 Burton

It's all level in the EFL Cup first round tie at Prenton Park.

Ben Whitfield opened the scoring giving Burton the lead but Charlie Whitaker nodded Tranmere level to set things up nicely for the second half.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 19 August

    Huddersfield 0-0 Doncaster

Huddersfield were 3-2 down at half-time on Saturday, and honestly, it might have been 4-1 tonight. The hosts survived an almighty onslaught in the early stages with Billy Sharp denied in the goalmouth, Glenn Middleton being thwarted by Owen Goodman when clean through and then being denied by a goal-saving challenge from Leo Castledine.

Marcus Harness came closest to a reply with a superb piece of skill and powerful shot which was stopped by the Rovers keeper at the other end.

No idea how it's still 0-0, in truth...

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 19 August

    Gillingham 1-0 Chesterfield

Armani Little's cool-headed penalty puts Gillingham ahead at the break.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 19 August

    Stockport 1-0 Bradford

Owen Moxon's low strike from 20-yards on 16 minutes has given County a lead they deserve at the break.

City keeper Sam Walker is the main reason the margin isn't greater, making some smart saves to deny Owen Dodgson and Jack Diamond on more than one occasion.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 19 August

    Port Vale 1-0 Stevenage

It was Stevenage who began the brighter with Jamie Reid thudding the base of the post from range for the early League One leaders.

However, Lorent Tolaj's fine goal from an angle shortly before the break has Vale halfway to a highly respectable three points.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 19 August

    Fleetwood 0-2 Crewe

Josh March celebrates his goal for Crewe at FleetwoodImage source, Rex Features

Crewe Alexandra have dominated Fleetwood to retain their place as League Two leaders, as it stands.

The Cods were beginning to build into the game at the end of that half - can they continue to flow in the second half enough to claw their way back?

They'll need to keep their eye out for Crewe's Josh March. His strike was the catalyst for an own goal in the opening minute and he then followed it up with a goal with his name on it to double the visitors' lead.

  13. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 19 August

    Fleetwood 0-2 Crewe

There's an additional two minutes to go.

Fleetwood are starting to find their groove now but is it too late for this half?

  14. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 19 August

    Gillingham 1-0 Chesterfield

There's only two minutes added to the clock for Chesterfield to find a leveller before the half-time whistle.

  15. 'The crowd are up'published at 20:30 British Summer Time 19 August

    Port Vale 1-0 Stevenage

    Mike Baggaley
Port Vale journalist on BBC Radio Stoke

Port Vale have looked like a good attacking side so far and have got a goal.

The crowd are up so let's see what they can do before we go in for half-time.

  16. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 19 August

    Fleetwood 0-2 Crewe

An opportunity for the Cods as they are given a free-kick in the attacking half.

The set-piece is sent across field but finds a Crewe head. The rebound is mopped up and then worked up the left-flank but the resulting cross into the box is easily collected by a diving Tom Booth.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:28 British Summer Time 19 August

    Stockport 1-0 Bradford

They beat Luton on Saturday but this feels like a step-up for Bradford.

Stockport have been excellent and Malik Mothersille has come close to doubling their lead with a turn and fierce effort which flies over Sam Walker's crossbar.

  18. Postpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 19 August

    Huddersfield 0-0 Doncaster

Ironic jeers from some Doncaster fans as one-time Rovers hero Alfie May opts to take on an ambitious volley with the outside of his right peg as a clearing header drops to him on the edge of the box, only to skew his effort tamely wide.

  19. 'Walsall having a good spell'published at 20:25 British Summer Time 19 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

    Ryan Simmonds
Walsall under-18s coach on BBC Radio WM

Both teams have settled into a rhythm in this game and it has started to flow.

Walsall have had a bit of a good spell in the last five minutes. Walsall are completely fine with the opposition having possession.

  20. EFL Cup latestpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 19 August

    Tranmere 1-1 Burton

Tranmere get the equaliser which has been deserved.

Charlie Whitaker with the goal for Rovers.
