    Fleetwood 0-2 Crewe

Crewe take the lead at FleetwoodImage source, Rex Features

Fleetwood are struggling to contain their visitors and should maybe feel some relief that there's just a two goal difference.

The Railwaymen have had 11 shots to the Cods two and six of those 11 have been on target.

The ball is starting to find a direction the home side like to see but they have yet to test Alex keeper Tom Booth.

Shawn McCoulsky has given Harrogate the lead against Barrow with a low finish past Wyll Stanway.

    HT: Newport 0-0 Salford

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Rodney Parade

It's been a full-blooded first half at Rodney Parade.

Lots of endeavour, crunching tackles and a handful of chances, but neither Newport nor Salford have really got into their groove yet.

    All a bit frantic.

  4. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 1-0 Stevenagepublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 19 August

    Lorent Tolaj (36 mins)

Vale strike first, no 0-0 tonight...

This is brilliant forward play from Lorent Tolaj who chases down what looks a lost cause in the box, draws Filip Marschall off his line, manages to work an angle around the keeper and shows great composure to fire across goal, past the back-tracking defenders, and into the far corner from an acute angle.

Vale's first home goal this season.

Boro's winning record is under threat.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:21 British Summer Time 19 August

    Huddersfield 0-0 Doncaster

    Football's the winner here.

Marcus Harness, still seeking his first Town goal, shows some Gazza razzle-dazzle from Euro 96 to dink inside defender defender Jack Senior and then lash a shot towards goal which Rovers keeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala does brilliantly to turn away to his left.

    Gillingham 1-0 Chesterfield

Gillingham are feeling buoyant after scoring the opener.

They get an opportunity for a quick second goal as Gills front man Josh Andrews tries to take a chance on a volley but it sails wide.

  7. CLOSE!published at 20:19 British Summer Time 19 August

    Port Vale 0-0 Stevenage

First glimpse of goal for the hosts but Ronan Curtis sees a deflected header loop over Filip Marshall's crossbar and onto the roof of the Boro net.

No league wins as of yet for Northampton and they trail Lincoln. Freddie Draper with the goal at Sixfields.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:17 British Summer Time 19 August

    Stockport 1-0 Bradford

Sam Walker is keeping City in it, just as he did a week ago in the EFL Cup win at Blackburn.

He has denied the lively Jack Diamond twice in a matter of moments, first with a low save from the edge of the box and then beating away a strike after a dazzling run from Diamond.

  10. goal

GOAL: Gillingham 1-0 Chesterfieldpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 19 August

    Armani Little (28 mins)

The Gills take the lead over the (currently former) league leaders.

Club captain Armani Little demonstrates his nerves of steel as he nestles his penalty kick into the bottom left corner.

With Crewe in control over at Fleetwood, it means Chesterfield have lost the bragging rights of being at the top of the table as things stand.

  11. 'Stockport are looking dangerous'published at 20:13 British Summer Time 19 August

    Stockport 1-0 Bradford

    Jamie Raynor
BBC Radio Leeds' Bradford City commentator

Stockport are looking very comfortable on the ball, they look dangerous and effective on the attack.

Bradford are really under the pump for the first time this season.

  12. PENALTY TO GILLINGHAMpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 19 August

    Gillingham 0-0 Chesterfield

Josh Andrews has earned his side a penalty.

    Can the Gills convert?

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:11 British Summer Time 19 August

    Huddersfield 0-0 Doncaster

What a tackle from Leo Castledine.

Joe Sbarra is sprung from the halfway line and races into clear green space, Castledine eats up the ground behind him and just after Sbarra gets into the box preparing to pull the trigger produces a perfect sliding challenge.

Town look very shaky at the back... epitomised by Owen Goodman passing straight to a Rovers shirt just now, gratefully watching the quick effort drift wide of his far post.

The Terriers fans are not sitting remotely comfortably.

I've not been paying much attention, but noticed that neither Mengi nor Chong are playing for Luton but (surprisingly, as they could cut the mustard at a higher level) both seem still to be at the club. Injuries, transfer negotiations or does the manager not fancy them?

    Tony, Somerset

The word out of Luton suggests both are currently on their way back from pre-season injuries.

Bromley are in front against Cheltenham thanks to Omar Sowunmi.

And Arthur Read has given Colchester the lead against Cambridge.

  16. 'City have been poor on the ball'published at 20:08 British Summer Time 19 August

    Stockport 1-0 Bradford

    Gary Jones
Former Bradford City captain on BBC Radio Leeds

Bradford City have been poor on the ball. They have been a bit rash and haven't been able to string any passes together.

There needs to be more communication, as the midfield of Jenson Metcalfe and Max Power don't know if they should come or go when Stockport are on the counter-attack.

City really have to try and get up the pitch.

  17. goal

GOAL: Fleetwood 0-2 Crewepublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 19 August

    Josh March (22 mins)

Josh March scores Crewe's second goal at FleetwoodImage source, Rex Features

Josh March has his first goal in Crewe colours and oh, doesn't he deserve it!

He was involved in the first goal. He's already fashioned a few chances, one via a bicycle kick that didn't pan out but not long after his next effort finds the mark.

He sneaks past the Cods defenders and gets it past the keeper to double the visitors' lead.

  18. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 19 August

    Gillingham 0-0 Chesterfield

Chesterfield's Ronan Darcy weaves his way through the home defences and winds up a shot.

His hard work isn't rewarded though. The effort is on target but finds nothing but the gloves of Gills keeper Glenn Morris.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 19 August

    Port Vale 0-0 Stevenage

Stevenage continuing to press at Vale Park but Jamie Reid has thumped the outside of Vale keeper Marko Marosi's right post with a long-range strike from the left of the box, seeking his fourth goal of the season already.

George Savill celebrates giving Luton the lead against WiganImage source, Rex Features

George Saville has put Luton ahead against Wigan. That's his first goal for the club since signing from Millwall.

Other than the Stockport goal, we're still waiting for deadlocks to be broken across the other games. Still early days, though.
