  2. 'I'll treat it as a normal game'published at 11:58 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December

    Kettering v Doncaster (12:00 GMT)

Kettering Town manager Richard Lavery speaking to BBC Two: "I'm looking forward to it. I'll treat it as a normal game, I know it's not a normal game but I try to keep feet on the floor but come 12:00 it's game on.

"We'll miss Devon Kelly-Evans who is a massive player for us but Gary Stohrer comes in and is a good player as well and probably suits this pitch better than Devon. It's a loss but that's what I've got a squad for.

"It will be a tough game, I think Doncaster will be better than Northampton. Yes we're at home and I know they're a good footballing side but can you play on that pitch? I'm hoping not."

Kettering Town boss Richard Lavery has made three changes from the side that beat Leiston 2-1 in their last league game.

Jason Alexander starts in goal ahead of Dan Jezeph, while Lewis White comes in for Jonathan Edwards and Isiah Noel-Williams takes the place of Harlain Mbayo.

There are some familiar names in the Poppies squad as ex-Newcastle player Nile Ranger starts up front, while former Celtic and Norwich forward Gary Hooper and Marvin Sordell, once of the Premier League, are among the subs.

Grant McCann makes three changes to the Doncaster Rovers side that drew 0-0 at Carlisle in League Two last weekend.

Tom Anderson, Joe Sbarra and Jordan Gibson return to the starting line-up.

Jay McGrath misses out with suspension after getting sent off in that game, while James Maxwell and Kyle Hurst drop to the bench.

Kettering Town produced arguably the biggest shock of the FA Cup first round when they dumped out their League One local rivals Northampton Town.

The Poppies came from a goal behind in that tie to win 2-1 against their neighbours who were 79 places higher in the English football pyramid.

Today, the seventh-tier Southern League Premier Central leaders face another EFL side in the shape of League Two promotion-chasers Doncaster Rovers.

There are 68 league positions separating the two teams, who meet for the first time ever in this competition.

Kettering are unbeaten in their past nine games (W8 D1), while Doncaster have lost just once in 11 (W6 D4).

Something has to give this lunchtime... will it be another upset or will the visitors' superior status see them through?
