Paul Smyth scored the opening goal as QPR picked up their first win of the season
Koki Saito came off the bench to score a stunning goal in QPR's first win of the season against Charlton Athletic on his first appearance since returning to the club.
The Japanese midfielder rejoined the Rs on a permanent deal from Belgian side Lommel on Monday after spending the second half of last season on loan at Loftus Road.
Paul Smyth's early opener had been cancelled out by a Rob Apter volley in the second half and, with the score level, Saito produced a moment of sublime quality to help his side towards all three points, picking up the ball in the middle of the park and driving through the Addicks' defence before firing into the bottom corner.
Richard Kone scored his first Championship goal deep into added time to wrap up the Hoops' first win under head coach Julien Stephan.
Meanwhile, Nathan Jones' side have now lost their past two Championship matches, and three games in a row in all competitions.

Rob Apter scored his first Charlton Athletic goal in his side's defeat at Loftus Road
QPR came into the game on the back of a humiliating 7-1 defeat at Coventry City, with Stephan saying his players needed to play "like they wanted revenge" against the Addicks.
And his side began the match in that fashion, carving out two brilliant chances in the opening 10 minutes.
Kader Dembele should have given the hosts the lead when he played a neat one-two with Kone in the box before hitting a tame effort into the ground and straight into the arms of Charlton keeper Thomas Kaminiski.
But they were ahead a minute later as Kone allowed Harvey Vale's cross to go through to Smyth, who finished down the middle of the goal via a touch from Kaminski before pulling off an acrobatic celebration.
The Rs restricted the visitors to very little goalmouth action until Tyreece Campbell crossed into the box and Miles Leaburn sent a half-volley just over as it clipped the crossbar.
Vale then headed against the post for QPR with the last action of the first half.
Campbell was again involved for the equaliser, sending a deep cross into the box, which Apter volleyed back across goal and trickled into the corner beyond Joe Walsh.
QPR were fortunate not to go down to 10 players when Amadou Mbengue brought down former R Charlie Kelman on the edge of the box but the referee kept his cards in his pocket.
Enter Saito.
The 24-year-old scored three goals and became a fans' favourite during an exciting loan spell last season, and was introduced in place of Dembele on 59 minutes.
And with six minutes left, the midfielder picked the ball up before setting off on a jinking run through the middle, moving past Charlton defender Lloyd Jones and placing the ball into the bottom corner.
QPR's day had the perfect end as Kone ran clean through on to substitute Rumarn Burrell's flick-on, rolling the ball past Kaminski to secure a vital first win of the season for Stephan and his side.
Second goal 'knocked the belief out of us' - reaction
Julien Stephan reacts after winning his first game as QPR boss
QPR head coach Julien Stephan told BBC Radio London:
"Congratulations to the players, this is the most important. They play, I think they deserve the win today.
"They start very well for the first 20 minutes. The last 15 minutes [of the first half] we played too low on the pitch for me, so we tried to change some things at half-time.
"The players who came from the bench had a huge impact for the last 30 minutes.
"We had three more players this week which meant more options to start and more options to finish [the game].
"We can see today a huge impact at the end of the game – Koki Saito, [Rayan] Kolli, [Rumarn] Burrell.
"I'm very happy also for Ritchie Kone because he did a top game from the first second until the last second."
Jones: 'We don't demonstrate enough quality'
Charlton Athletic head coach Nathan Jones said:
"We didn't start well and that cost us the first goal, a counter-attacking goal.
"Then we get to grips with the game with probably controlling the game. Second half we get back in it.
"We didn't take our chances and they go through the middle of the park and they score the second goal. And that's changed the game really, it knocked the belief out of us."
