  1. 'Sky Blues will have to come out and play'published at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Burnley 1-0 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

Burnley worked the goal well, Coventry had bodies back so will be disappointed with it from a defensive point of view.

Coventry will have to really come out and play now.

  2. As it stands...published at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Burnley 1-0 Coventry

Is it going to be a four-way fight for the two automatic promotion spots?

Still a VERY long way to go of course!

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Sheff Utd 2-0 Oxford

Familiar pattern in the second half as the Blades get the ball forward and Callum O'Hare picks up the ball and spins 20 yards out before whipping a shot over Jamie Cumming's bar.

  4. goal

GOAL: Burnley 1-0 Coventrypublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Jeremy Sarmiento (47 mins)

    Breakthrough!

Jaidon Anthony threads the ball down the right wing to Connor Roberts who cuts it back for Jeremy Sarmiento to finish.

Can Coventry hit back? Burnley don't concede goals, so you don't fancy their chances.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Hull City 0-1 Sheff Wed

Tim Walter is making a double change at the break with Ryan Longman and Regan Slater not back out.

Marvin Mehlem and Abdus Omur are on for the Tigers.

Two changes for Danny Rohl too.

Goalscorer Josh Windass has not appeared for the second half for the Owls, with Anthony Musaba coming on along with Michael Smith, who replaces Ike Ugbo.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger played out of the PA as the teams came out for the second half. At least a shot on target in this 45 please guys!

  7. 'West Brom have restricted Sunderland'published at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

From a defensive point of view West Brom have been superb, they have restricted Sunderland to only a few shots from outside the box.

They have to keep it going in the second half and hopefully get a few chances for themselves.

While Sunderland and West Brom players troop in for an orange segment, the players are back in position in most of our other six games already.

The second half is getting under way... now!

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

Patrick Roberts free-kick for SunderlandImage source, PA Media

An absorbing half, but not one brimming with incident, if truth be told.

Wilson Isidor's deflected strike tested Albion keeper Alex Palmer early on, while Josh Maja might have done better than whip his shot past the near post after cleverly making room to meet Tom Fellows' cut-back from the right on his Stadium of Light return.

Hopefully a bit more goalmouth incident after the break...

  10. Postpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

Just the ONE additional minute at the end of the half at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland pressing but without looking clinical.

So, just the six first-half goals in our seven matches.

Glenn Speller's piece from a few days ago might give a bit more of an insight as to why the Championship is so tight this season.

  12. Wednesday night's fixturespublished at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

All games kick-off at 19:45 BST unless stated

Just a reminder while six of our games are at half-time, if you thought tonight's line-up looked tasty, have a look at these fixtures tomorrow!

Of course we'll be right here to bring you live coverage of all these games too.

    Cardiff v QPR

    Leeds v Luton

    Middlesbrough v Blackburn

    Portsmouth v Millwall

    Derby v Swansea (20:00 GMT)

  13. Postpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

Big cheers from the home fans as Dan Neil shows impressive strength to barge Josh Maja off the ball in midfield.

It's been the Black Cats who have done most of the pressing, without really calling Baggies keeper Alex Palmer into any real action so far.

  14. Postpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

Enjoy those first halves in our six 19:45 kick-offs?

A few more goals would be nice...

  15. Postpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Sunderland 0-0 West Brom

Another 15 minutes to come in the late kick-off at the Stadium of Light where the recalled Patrick Roberts drives in from the right before unleashing a left-foot piledriver from 25 yards, though he's off balance and blazes his effort into the stand.

  16. 'A very uneventful 45 minutes'published at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    HT: Burnley 0-0 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

A very uneventful 45 minutes is all I can say so far.

Coventry will be very pleased if it continues in this way in the second half. A slight formation change from Coventry has helped them as well.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Stoke 0-0 Preston

Goalless in this one so far.

Stoke started the game well but Preston grew into it to carve out a couple of half chances.

But we're still waiting to see a net ripple.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Burnley 0-0 Coventry

Burnley v Coventry match actionImage source, PA Media

    Not a classic, this one.

Burnley are in control but no clear chances created. Coventry yet to muster a shot.

    Needs impetus.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Hull City 0-1 Sheff Wed

Josh Windass' penalty - the Owls first in 63 games, the longest run of any side in the top four tiers - is the difference at the break.

Boos from the home fans as the visitors might have scored more, though James Beadle has also produced two stunning stops to deny Regan Slater and Xavier SImons.

Big 15 minutes for under-fire Tim Walter coming up.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 26 November

    Norwich City 2-1 Plymouth Argyle

Norwich v Plymouth match actionImage source, Rex Features

This felt like it could have been so different 15 minutes in.

Norwich have dominated completely and could be out of sight. Borja Sainz's double has them in control.

But Mustapha Bundu has hauled Plymouth back into it.
