  1. Chelsea to play Copenhagenpublished at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February
    Breaking

Chelsea will play Copenhagen in the Conference League round of 16 after being drawn together.

  2. A history of Champions League heartbreakpublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February

    Arsenal

Arsenal have never won the Champions League in their history, but the closest they came to it was in a night in Paris, in 2006 when they became the first London club to reach the final but were beaten 2-1 by Barcelona.

The Gunners, who were playing with 10 men after goalkeeper Jens Lehmann was sent off, were put in front by defender Sol Campbell at the Stade de France, however Barcelona fought back with goals from Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti.

  3. 'I'm pretty pleased' with PSVpublished at 13:13 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February

Arsenal fan Harry Symeou on drawing PSV: "I'm pretty pleased with that, we were always going to get a Dutch side, those were the two options available to us. There was part of me that was a little bit worried about taking on Feyenoord because of the potential of a reunion with Robin van Persie, who's set to take over as their coach.

"That would of added a little bit more spice, so I'm pleased we got PSV. The only downside is that drawing PSV we are now on the side of the draw with Real Madrid, the Champions League kings."

I'd make Liverpool slight favourites against PSG, sure. But people seem to be forgetting that in Dembele, PSG have arguably got Europe's form winger. Kvara is no slouch either. The whole squad is strong. It's the tie of the round, no doubt about it.

Manchester United vs Real Sociedad will be a great match to watch. As a United fan, I can see them going out.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola on what he wants to see from his side on Sunday: "We can compete with any team. We have two central defenders out for two to three months. The Premier League is massively important for us. In the Premier League we have played really good games.

"We are not stable but in other games such as against Newcastle, we have been at a high level. We will try to play a good game and the points that we need to stay up there to qualify [for the Champions League] next season."

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was asked about the fitness of star striker Erling Haaland: "Don't know yet. Tomorrow we will know it but I don't know. It's better to have Erling on the pitch but obviously, we don't have it but of course with Erling we are stronger."

On John Stones: "He's injured, difficult one, next hours/days we will know whether he needs surgery or not."

When he was pressed on whether Stones is set for a longer period of time on the sidelines: "Yes, like Manuel Akanji [who is out for eight to 10 weeks after suffering an abductor injury in the first leg of their Champions League tie against Real Madrid].

  11. Guardiola in the hot seatpublished at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February

Manchester City v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City's news conference is up next. The defending champions will be licking their wounds after crashing out of the Champions League against Real Madrid in midweek. It is the earliest they have exited the competition since the 2012-13 season when they were eliminated in the group stage.

Pep Guardiola will surely be asked about the fitness of John Stones who went off injured against Real and Erling Haaland who did not feature at all in that fixture.

Aston Villa will face Club Brugge in the last-16 of the Champions League.

Villa gained automatic qualification into the round of 16 after they finished eighth in the league stage.

Aston Villa have faced Belgian opposition five times before in European competition, winning just one of those encounters (D1 L3), a 1-0 victory vs Anderlecht in the European Cup in April 1982.

Across European competition, Club Brugge have won just one of their last 16 games against English opposition (D3 L12), conceding 42 goals during that time.

The Belgian side's only victory in that time did come against Aston Villa, 1-0 in this season's league phase.

  13. Arsenal v PSVpublished at 12:39 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February

    Arsenal

This will be the second time Arsenal have faced PSV in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League, after being eliminated by the Dutch side in the Last 16 in 2006-07.

One of the legs included a 1-0 loss, which is Arsenal's only loss in their last 14 games against all Dutch sides in the UEFA Champions League, with more than half of those matches ending in draws and the rest in wins.

Jose facing Rangers before potential reunions with Roma and Manchester United in the QFs and SFs, before Tottenham in the Final? From a man who attracts drama everywhere he goes, I wouldn’t rule it out…

    Andrew

Don’t think Mourinho has ever managed in Scotland before? He faced Celtic in the 2003 UEFA Cup Final but in Seville. This could be… spicy?
