I know, you're wondering why I've taken a photo of a boring old brick wall. Well, I'll tell you!

'JONAS OUT’ were the words graffitied across this very wall just a few days ago after Arsenal's 2-1 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday which piled the pressure on the Gunners boss.

The artist’s, and many other fans’, wishes were answered when it was announced on Monday that Jonas Eidevall had resigned.

As you can see, someone has taken the time to scrub the paint away and it's back to being a boring brick wall again.

In case you've missed the big news of the past few days, Jonas Eidevall resigned from his position as Arsenal head coach on Tuesday.

But football waits for no one and the Gunners continue their Champions League campaign this evening against Norwegian outfit Valerenga at Emirates Stadium.

In her first game in charge, interim boss Renee Slegers makes just one change from the Arsenal side that lost to Chelsea in the WSL on Saturday.

Laia Codina replaces Lotte Wubben-Moy, lining up alongside Leah Williamson in the Gunners' defence.

Meanwhile, Sweden forward Lina Hurtig is back in the squad for the first time since December 2023.

Arsenal XI: Van Domselaar, Fox, Williamson, Codina, McCabe, Little, Walti, Mead, Caldentey, Foord, Russo.

Nils Lexerod makes two changes to his side that claimed a 3-0 win over Lyn in the Norwegian top flight at the weekend.

Thea Bjelde is fit to start despite being forced off injured in the first half against Lyn.

Elise Thorsnes and Emma Stolen Godo come into the starting line-up while Ronja Arnesen and Iselin Sandnes Olsen drop to the bench.

Let's head straight to North London for some team news as Arsenal host Norwegian side Valerenga...

Here's how things look in Group D then after that victory for Manchester City.

Barcelona host Swedish side Hammerby in the group's other match but it's City who currently sit in top spot after two games.

That will be that! It's two wins from two in Group D for Manchester City and it required a late goal from Mary Fowler to get the job done.

Gareth Taylor and his side won't care though. They take all three points in Vienna.

Into three minutes of added time. Almost job done for Manchester City.

Jill Roord finds Lauren Hemp down the left-hand side but there's no options in the penalty area and it comes back out.

Hemp tries to thread through for Roord but there's too much on it for the Dutch midfielder and Carina Schluter gathers.

A last roll of the dice for St Polten. Off goes Melike Pekel, on comes forward Andrea Glibo.

Aoba Fujino gets on a really good run down the left and does so well to keep the ball in play and cut it back for Lauren Hemp but the England forward's shot is blocked.

Into the final five minutes as Manchester City look to wear down the clock and benefit from some St Polten tired legs.

St Polten have made it really tough for Manchester City tonight. They will be disappointed if they don't come away with anything.

Aoba Fujino does well to pick up the ball on the right and drift into the area. Jennifer Klein makes the block but it's another Manchester City corner.

Can they make one of these count?

Mary Fowler tries a hopeful looping ball into the penalty area but it's headed behind by St Polten for a corner.

Carina Schluter comes off her line but misses the corner and the whistle blows for a foul on the goalkeeper before a Manchester City player can tap home.

It's a pretty even game at this point. End to end, chances for both sides. Is there a winner in it?

St Polten get on the break and look dangerous when they do. Melike Pekel has Valentina Madl for company but decides to go it alone and Alanna Kennedy gets herself in the way of the shot.

Manchester City are keeping hold of the ball as the substitutes settle in but they will really want to find a winner here.

Lauren Hemp's arrival means Aoba Fujino has swapped flanks and is now playing out on the right while Hemp occuupies the left.

St Polten also make a few changes.

Mateja Zver and Maria Mikolajova make way for Tea Krznaric and Valentina Madl.
