It is poor from Wolves as they try to play out from the back after clearing a corner.

A loose pass is picked up by Jamie Gittens. He then slips it forward to Andrey Santos who weaves his way into the box and rifles into the bottom corner.

Good point by Warnock at 19:36. Sure Liverpool haven't been up to their form of last year, and true they have spent a ridiculously huge amount of money, but they've also had a tragedy. It puts things into perspective, football is just a game, let's try and enjoy the journey.

First shot in anger from Arsenal and it's Ethan Nwaneri who picks out the run of Mikel Merino but he smashes it high and wide.

Poor from Piero Hincapie to give the ball away deep in his own half. Carlos Baleba fancies a drive at goal from about 25 yards but that's easy for Kepa.

In contrast to the intense pre-match music played through the speakers here at Wolves, this occasion seems fairly subdued.

Of all my visits to this stadium in the west Midlands, this already seems the most low-key and quiet.

There are smatterings of empty seats in the home end despite an increased allocation for the visitors.

    Liverpool

Five defeats in the past six games, seven points off the pace in the Premier League, and Real Madrid in town next week.

Liverpool are in a bit of a mess right now, but is tonight the night they get their act together?

A fascinating evening awaits at Anfield.

Arne Slot is under the same pressure as every Liverpool manager - and that is the pressure to win games. Pressure for his job? Not a chance.

Slot won the title in his first season after succeeding Jurgen Klopp, and while he needs wins as quickly as possible, Liverpool is not the sort of club to panic, even if the next sequence of results go badly.

I would agree, however, that they need to show signs of becoming more resilient and balanced, because I think they are a dysfunctional, soft touch at the moment. And, Hugo Ekitike apart, their big signings have not yet delivered.

Slot however still has plenty of credit in the bank and Liverpool is a calm club internally, not given to hasty, panicky decisions, certainly not when it involves a manager who won the Premier League last season.

If Liverpool are to lose tonight, they then have to play here against Aston Villa on Saturday – everyone will be talking about it. It just puts more pressure on the players and the manager.

Can't understand why Arteta hasn't started Raya. He must be getting a bit rusty after all the time off he's had recently.

The forward scored 18 goals from 37 appearances, including match-winning strikes in the FA Youth Cup against Fulham and in the Uefa Youth League against Paris St-Germain for the academy sides last season.

Harriman-Annous is also the cousin of England rugby captain Maro Itoje.

Molineux has been consistent in having the most aggressive pre-match music across England's top flight.

Pyro, an impressive light show with screens featuring an angry looking grey wolf with orange eyes, and Prodigy's Firestarter as the last song before the two teams walk out.

Anyone that likes watching football or hasn't seen this young man, just enjoy him tonight. This is a very unique, special talent and he's only 15 years of age. [He's] got that lovely left foot, so graceful, so calm. Not fazed by anything. He's an incredible talent.

  20. Can Swansea do something remarkable?published at 19:39 GMT 29 October

Swansea v Manchester City (19:45 GMT)

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Alan Sheehan's Swansea have been something of a mixed bag so far this season, with a league record of four wins, four draws and four defeats a sign of their lack of consistency.

Their best moment to date in 2025-26 was the comeback win over Nottingham Forest in the previous round of this competition.

Can they take another Premier League scalp this evening?

Head coach Sheehan's priority is Saturday's Championship game at Charlton, hence there are six home changes this evening.

Even against a much-changed Manchester City team, a Swansea triumph tonight would be remarkable.
