😲 Daniel Levy, my man! I didn't see a Kolo Muani deal appearing on this transfers live page today...with any reference to Spurs in it, apart from a 'Spurs missed out again' comment at the bottom of course lol.

West Brom are working on a loan deal for Charlie Taylor from Southampton.

The Baggies have been keen on signing a left-back as boss Ryan Mason looks to complete his squad.

Taylor only joined Southampton on a free transfer from Burnley last summer but made just five starts as the Saints were relegated from the Premier League.

He has featured in the Saints' two EFL Cup games against Northampton and Norwich this season but has not played for Will Still's side in the Championship.

Brighton now loaning out O'Reilly? He was a "heralded" signing last season, while Gilmour left - despite proving he's as solid as they come. The constant revolving door at Brighton is becoming frustrating for fans craving consistency - and we aren't even using our forward signings!

And still the Seagulls manage to beat eight-time Premier League champions Manchester City. They must be doing something right, eh Euan?

Harvey Elliott and Jadon Sancho are both at Aston Villa now completing the formalities of their loan moves.

Elliott, in particular, is a real coup for Villa. He is very highly-regarded at Liverpool but would have been short on game time.

He was player of the tournament when England won the European Under-21s Championship this summer, scoring five goals.

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig also had a serious interest in taking him to Germany.

Jadon Sancho, as seems a regular occurrence, has a point to prove.

Manchester United youngster Harry Amass has known since the start of pre-season he would be securing a loan move this summer.

He has had to wait until the last day of the window to get it - and now he has to wait for the Football League to confirm.

Sheffield Wednesday's current financial situation means they can only register players with EFL approval even when, as in this case, United are paying Amass' wages.

I have been told all the details around the move are complete, including the medical.

Now the EFL have to sign it off.

Villa's window looks panicked and last minute - very, very concerning to see a team in the Europa League with such a weak bench and last-minute depth. Especially as Martinez doesn't want to be there, but now is forced to be there. Rough season ahead!

Nottingham Forest are close to a deal worth over £30m for Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa.

The 23-year-old is expected to complete a move to the City Ground which would take Forest's spending to around £180m this summer.

Bakwa, a France Under-21 international, has made 66 appearances for Strasbourg since joining for Bordeaux two years ago.

Bakwa's arrival would be Forest's 10th summer signing and they are also due to complete the signing of Botafogo left-back Cuiabano.

Forest's spending includes Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich for £37.5m while James McAtee also signed from Manchester City for around £30m and striker Arnaud Kalimuendo, a £26m signing from Rennes.

Meanwhile, forward Jota Silva and striker Taiwo Awoniyi could leave the City Ground before the deadline.

As a Spurs fan, I’m disappointed to hear no talk of us signing a left winger. Would be happy with Kolo Muani as striker, but with Johnson’s form I’m really hoping the interest in Rogers might materialise. If we can do that it’s a successful transfer window.

"An experienced and versatile operator across the back line, Lindelof spent eight years at Old Trafford, winning both the League Cup and the FA Cup," Villa said in a statement on the club website.

"He had previously lifted silverware with Benfica in Portugal, after starting his career in his native Sweden.

The 22-year-old had been subject to an offer over the weekend and had been weighing up the chance to move to Stamford Bridge.

However, priorities switched to resolving the striker situation after Liam Delap suffered a serious-looking hamstring injury and Lopez hasn't looked to force his exit from Camp Nou.

Derby and Wrexham are set to be thwarted in their interest in Bristol City defender Zak Vyner.

The Robins are determined to keep the centre-back having rejected bids from the Rams and Wrexham.

Vyner is seen as central to boss Gerhard Struber's plans at Ashton Gate, especially with little time to replace him.

Vyner, 28, has made 240 appearances for the Robins having come through the academy, scoring four goals.

Bristol City are sixth in the Championship following Saturday's 4-2 win over Hull.

Strelec helped Slovan win the Slovakian top-flight title last season and featured against both Manchester City and Celtic in the Champions League.

He is currently away on international duty as Slovakia prepare to face Germany and Luxembourg in World Cup qualifiers later this week.
