Watch Erling Haaland's best goals from his debut Premier League season.
Erling Haaland has broken scoring records since first joining Manchester City in 2022.
In his first season with the club the Norway international broke the Premier League record for most goals in a single season. Haaland scored 36 goals in the 2022/23 season, beating the record previously jointly held by Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole who scored 34 in the 1994/95 and 1993/94 respectively.
Across all competitions since joining Pep Guardiola's side, Haaland has made 126 appearances and scored 111 goals.
He was also a part of the squad who won the Champions League with City. Now in his third season at the club, Haaland has won a total of six trophies with City.
The new deal for Erling Haaland is reportedly one of the most lucrative in Premier League, according to the Athletic.
His initial deal which he signed in 2022 kept him at City until 2027 but included clauses if another club wanted to buy him.
However, the publication say those have been removed from his new deal.

Do you hear that noise in the background? It’s the sound of Alan Shearer’s teeth chattering…

Manchester City's director of football Txiki Begiristain said: “He has made an incredible impact already in his time here and his amazing numbers and records speak for themselves.
“But in addition to his outstanding natural talent and ability, Erling’s dedication, professionalism, humility and desire to keep getting better sum up what we all strive to achieve at Manchester City.
“He is one of the finest strikers in world football, but Erling is still very young and will only continue to improve working under Pep and his coaching team. If he works hard, which I know he will, he will create an incredible legacy at this football club."
Erling Haaland has also spoken on his Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
He said of the boss: "I have improved a lot. It is so nice to work with him. Not only because he is the best, but he is also the most hard-working person I have ever seen.
"People think it is only because this or that, but the amount of hours he puts down is also motivating and inspiring to see. It is funny to work with him, it is hard and it is tough because he demands a lot, but that is what I want.
"I want people to demand a lot from me and to put pressure on me. So far, so good.”
Erling Haaland is currently 61st in the all-time Premier League scoring records with 79 goals in 87 appearances.
He has a long way to go to dethrone the long-standing record in the top spot held by Alan Shearer, who scored 260 in his career.
But with almost a decade left at City, he will be hunting the record down.
Here are the top 10 all-time scorers:
Anyone want to make any predictions for how many Premier League goals Erling Haaland will have scored by the time this new deal runs out?
Manchester City's Erling Haaland has also spoke about the club turning around their recent slump in form. They are currently sixth in the Premier League, 12 points behind leaders Liverpool.
He said: "I am really confident that we will turn things around. Things have been difficult as we are so used to winning games, but also it is a challenge for us.
"To get this feeling of hunger inside every single one of us to not look at things easier. Don’t take things for granted, that is an important thing. I will do everything I can to change things around.”
Erling Haaland said of his new deal: "I am super happy. I am proud. It is difficult to put into words because it is a big moment. I am happy and that is the right words to use.
"I am super proud and happy and I am looking forward to staying here for a long time. In the end, speaking with the people I spoke with, the hunger and the support that I have been getting for the last couple of years from the board, from the bosses and from Pep, it was an easy decision. I am delighted.”
Some big news breaking this morning - Erling Haaland has signed a massive 9.5-year deal with Manchester City, keeping him at the club until 2034.
The length of the contract means the 24-year-old will be 33, almost 34, when it runs out.
More to follow.

More from former Manchester United assistant boss Rene Mulensteen on whether Manchester United are capable of playing attacking football: "I think the players are still coming to terms with the system he wants to play and for me, from the outside looking in I think that there are too many players that look like round packs in square holes.
"You saw it yesterday when United were chasing the game, only then did he change it with a substitution, he pushed Amad much further up the pitch, which is actually his position, and Garnacho, who has to play inside is actually more of a winger from wide who likes to come in. So I think that's the big issue that United have at the moment."

Former Manchester United assistant boss Rene Mulensteen on Rubeun Amorim's reaction to Southampton win: "I think he'll be relieved first and foremost because he's coming off the back of three home losses against Forest, Newcastle and Bournemouth and, all these teams have painted a blueprint on how you can get at Manchester United and Southampton did exactly that.
"He has to go back to the drawing board and make sure that his players understand the other side of the game. I think defensively he has done well against the bigger teams but this is another challenge he has to overcome to make sure that Manchester United start playing a bit more with confidence and authority in possession."
No, not dinner with me (fortunately) - it is Gary Lineker who is cooking.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank is the dinner guest at Lineker's house, with fish on the menu and football on the agenda...

The reason Amorim is getting some praise is because he's gone into United with a proper plan and structure, he's sticking to that rather than doing a Ten Hag and abandoning all philosophies within weeks looking for short-term results. It will take time to get them playing how he wants but he's changing them tactically and much more importantly he's raising standards which have been shockingly low for years. There are no guarantees but some short-term pain is worth it to try and fix the deeper issues.
Ben, Manchester
No team have conceded more goals via corners in the Premier League this season than Manchester United (10 – level with Wolves).
Meanwhile, Southampton were the 91st of the 92 teams in England’s top four tiers to net a corner goal in 2024-25.

Not wishing to take anything away from Diallo's excellent late hat-trick but Saints should have put that one to bed he certainly papered over the massive cracks.
Richie, Old Basing
Southampton must be fed up this morning, they were the better side for the majority of the game, Utd were hopeless. I wouldn’t be celebrating that win if I was a Utd fan although credit to Amad.

Real Madrid were also in action last night as they needed extra time to defeat Celta Vigo and book a place in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.
With the game ending 2-2 after 90 minutes, Brazilian Endrick scored twice in the second half of the extra period to send Carlo Ancelotti's side through.
In a battling comeback from 2-0 down, Celta struck a 91st-minute equaliser from former Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso to keep the last-16 tie alive.
Real looked in command with goals from Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, but endured a nervy finish when Jonathan Bamba pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 83rd minute.
Claudio Giraldez's side levelled when Alonso, who came through the youth ranks at Real Madrid, scored from the penalty spot after Bamba was fouled in stoppage time.
However, Endrick came off the bench to put Real back in front, before a Federico Valverde strike made it 4-2. The 18-year-old Endrick's clever backheeled finish sealed the success at Santiago Bernabeu.

Diallo gets the headlines but can we talk about Sulemana too? He had Yoro on toast all night. Last night suggests Southampton won't have enough to stay up, but they can at least give fans some good memories between now and the end of the season.

Cole Palmer (captain), Chelsea, £11.4m - home to Wolves
Three 10-pointers in four games is some consistency from Palmer.
Wolves are back to conceding goals - eight in three games- after two clean sheets.
Everything seems aligned for the England man to have a big game and these days if he scores one he is almost a lock for three bonus.
Antoine Semenyo got two returns to Palmer's one in Bournemouth's draw with Chelsea on Tuesday but was nowhere near him in the bonus points race.
