    Ah, that's cute.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement and new Celtic signing Arne Engels embrace pre-match and have a catch-up.

The Ibrox boss worked with the midfielder when he was a teenager at Club Bruges.

Engels starts on the bench today.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement: "It's important to stay in the flow you're in and it's important for the fans, and the confidence of the players and to let this young squad evolve."

On the negative narrative around the club, Clement says: "It can totally change in 90 minutes, that's football. But we are focussed on ourselves, not the narrative. We are a new project, there are 16 players not in the squad who were last season.

"The potential is there and now it's getting the best out of that potential. We've got lots of young players who can develop and also bring value for the future.

"These are things that have been forgotten at Rangers in the last couple of years."

Calm before storm. Scene is set. Etc etc.

This place will be bouncing soon enough, but there will be no away fans again at today's derby (yawn).

Don't even want to get into it, to be honest, all very tedious.

You probably know the script by now anyway. If you don't, ask ChatGPT or something.

Corker of a stat from our Liam McLeod on Sportsound.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement has failed to win his first four derbies. The last Ibrox boss to not to win their first five? The club's first ever manager, William Wilton.

In the opposite dugout, Brendan Rodgers has lost just one of his 18 Old Firm derbies (W14, D3) - his 78% win rate is the highest of any manager for either club.

Rangers also change two after their 6-0 victory over Ross County last Saturday.

Philippe Clement is boosted by the return of centre-back Robin Propper, who replaced Leon Balogun.

The final switch sees Mohamed Diomande come in for Tom Lawrence.

New signing Neraysho Kasanwirjo is on bench, but there's no Nedim Bajrami will not be after his clearance was delayed.

FYI: Noel Gallagher is not at Celtic Park. That's a photo from 2000.

    Anyway. Team news...
