    MK Dons 1-0 Walsall

Free kick given to MK Dons on the edge of the Walsall box.

It finds Laurence Maguire - whose brother Harry will be featuring for England a little later on - but he's not able to cause the Walsall keeper any worries.

Maguire needs a little attention from the medical team but he rises back up, ready to entertain the fans cheering his name from the stands.

    Crewe 1-0 Morecambe

    Peter Morse
Crewe summariser on BBC Radio Stoke

It's important that Crewe get back on top. They were on top throughout the whole of the first half.

    Barnsley 1-1 Bristol Rovers

    Nathan Ellington
Ex-Bristol Rovers striker on BBC Radio Bristol

I'm really surprised they [Barnsley] only have one goal.

In the first five minutes [Bristol Rovers keeper] Josh Griffiths has saved two that could have been goals.

  4. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 7 September

    Barnsley 1-1 Bristol Rovers

Back under way at Oakwell where Darrell Clarke had a busy 15 minutes after the end of that first half.

Donovan Pines has been withdrawn by the Barnsley boss at the interval with Corey O'Keeffe coming on.

Pines was involved in that mix-up with keeper Gabriel Slonina, remember.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 7 September

    Doncaster 1-0 Gillingham

Well I said there would be more in this and Luke Molyneux is here to heed my request.

He curls a cross in and it doesn't meet a fellow Rovers player but it does find the top of the bar.

Doncaster have come out raring to go. Satisfied with a 1-0 against the league leaders? I don't think so.

  6. Postpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 7 September

    MK Dons 1-0 Walsall

    Liam Gordon
Walsall wing-back on BBC Radio WM

The next goal is everything. Walsall have got to be more positive and take it to Dons a bit more.

  7. Postpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 7 September

    Wrexham 2-0 Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury keeper Toby Savin is living up to the spelling of his name.. he's saved Jack Marriott's looping header as the Wrexham frontman seeks a third goal of the young season.

Another good chance created by the left foot of James McClean. He's been involved in everything.

The second-halves are gradually getting under way.

Let's see if those orange segments have done any good, shall we?

    HT: Barnsley 1-1 Bristol Rovers

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at Oakwell

Hello from the pie queue at Barnsley! There is absolutely no way that Rovers should be level as they head down the tunnel but here we are.

Barnsley have been superb - comfortable in possession and have peppered Josh Griffiths’ goal. They got their break through a superb move by Darrell Clarke’s side.

Neat possession play and a superb flick by Luca Connell to feed Davis Keillor-Dunn. The home fans happy, and that momentum carried on without any response at all.

Honestly, you’d barely have known Rovers were meant to even be attacking. But the away fans high to my left are laughing.Chelsea loanee Gaga Slonina with a crazy moment, sliding out of his goal after a long ball and there was Ruel Sotiriou to finish into an open net. The Oakwell crowd here stunned.

Let’s see what the managers have up their sleeves after the break.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 7 September

    MK Dons 1-0 Walsall

MK Dons go into the tunnel the happier. Their possession based football got them a lead through striker Callum Hendry but Walsall aren't going to go away.

Will we see more at Stadium MK? Walsall surely won't want to see another 5-0 defeat but it would certainly make MK Dons feel much better about their previous games.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:59 British Summer Time 7 September

    Charlton 0-0 Rotherham

Gassan Ahadme has been a real handful for the Millers but spurned the best chance of the half as he smashed over the bar from close range after a long throw.

At the other end Will Mannion has denied Sam Nombe as Rotherham seek a first goal in nine away games.

WIll the deadlock be broken after the turnaround?

  12. Postpublished at 15:58 British Summer Time 7 September

    Charlton 0-0 Rotherham

    Ronnie Moore
Ex-Rotherham manager on BBC Radio Sheffield

There is nothing in the game really.

We have kept the ball better but haven't been able to finish.

Chesterfield celebrate scoring against GrimsbyImage source, Rex Features

A fair few goals in that first half outside of our main games to tell you about...

Dilan Markanday's first goal of the season for Chesterfield on the stroke of half-time has doubled the Spireites' lead at home to Grimsby.

Fellow home sides Barrow, Bradford, Crewe and Notts County all head back to the dressing room 1-0 up.

Visitors Port Vale and Bromley go into the break 2-1 and 1-0 up at Newport and Colchester respectively.

Cheltenham and Harrogate could learn from the other 18 teams in action today. The only goalless game of the day is at Whaddon Road.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 7 September

    Doncaster 1-0 Gillingham

As it stands Gillingham have lost their place at the top of the table thanks to Billy Sharp hooking the ball into the net to keep Doncaster's home win streak intact.

Will it stay this way in the second half? Feels like there has to be more in this one.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 7 September

    Barnsley 1-1 Bristol Rovers

Ruel Sotiriou's first goal for Bristol Rovers moments before the break, a gift from the home defence, in truth, has punctured the Barnsley balloon somewhat.

The Tykes began brilliantly and Josh Griffiths thwarted Barry Cotter twice before Davis Keillor-Dunn stroked home a debut goal after just 11 minutes.

Barnsley need to take their chances after the break otherwise their winless home streak will extend to nine matches.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 7 September

    Crewe Alexandra 1-0 Morecambe

Morecambe looked set to go into the break holding onto their draw but, as it always seems to go, they will now enter the second-half scrambling to regain their point thanks to a 43rd minute penalty from Kane Hemmings.

1-0 isn't quite a mountain but it's certainly going to be an uphill battle for the Shrimps now. A good time to score your first goal of the season one would think.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 7 September

    Wrexham 2-0 Shrewsbury

Neat finishes from Ollie Palmer and Elliott Lee have Wrexham two goals to the good at the break in the cross-border derby at the Stok Racecourse.

The first league meeting since April 2008 and the home fans are loving every minute.

They are top of League One, as things stand.

This was the opportunity - pressure on, Kane Hemmings took his time, showed his experience and the goalkeeper went the wrong way.

    Barnsley 1-1 Bristol Rovers

    Ross Heaton
    BBC Radio Bristol commentator

Its hard to sum up how bad that goalkeeping was, he just slipped. [Barnsley keeper] Gaga Slonina has looked like he has had that in him.

Bristol Rovers are looking for that first away win and they are level now.

    PENALTY FOR HEMMINGS!

You could smell a goal coming in this one and it's Kane Hemmings who slots it into the net after Jamie Knight-Lebel is fouled in the box.

Morecambe's hope for their first point of the season gets a little further away. Can they respond?
