Rob Holding's time at Crystal Palace is set to come to an end with the Telegraph reporting he is undergoing a medical before a loan move to Championship side Sheffield United.
Holding, who played for Arsenal for seven years, switched to Palace in 2023 but has only made one appearance for the Eagles.

Manchester United -B Got rid of a player that didn't want to be there and didn't throw money down the drain panic buying.. The team is good enough to get through to the end of the season with potential a European/FA cup run, next year they can really focus on improving the squad and implementing Amorims tactics. Only wish we'd gotten rid of another one or two pieces of dead wood.

Rob: It's a B for Villa if we get Asensio over the line. Trade a Championship player (Philogene) for Dutch international, get £70 million for a promising but not established striker who doesn't suit our style and rescue Rashford from the sinking ship. Lose a mark as we only have one fit centre back!
Abbie: As a Spurs fan... maybe a B, which I didn't expect at all this time last week. We needed a CB a GK and a forward of some kind and we haven't just got bodies, we've got three really promising options there. This is a cups season for us now ofc but I think this puts us in great stead for Europa.
Anon: As a West Ham fan, our business has only been a C so far, Ward Prowse looking promising last season and it’s good to finally sign a striker but we are too weak at the back! Maybe we should have been another team looking at Disasi.
It took a while to compile the few positive reactions we've had to this Get Involved question!
Is Tyrell Malacia set to leave Man Utd? Dutch journalist Joost Blaauwhof and Fabrizio Romano are reporting that the 25-year-old is set to join PSV on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Should Man Utd keep the left-back?
If Daniel Levy was given a permanent suspension from transfer business, that would mean Spurs couldn't make any signings...

Tottenham - E Levy needs a permanent suspension from transfer business

Celtic
Sky Sports are currently reporting that Crystal Palace winger Jeffrey Schlupp could join Celtic before tonight's deadline.
The 32-year-old is out of contract with the Eagles in the summer and the two clubs are reportedly negotiating how much of Schlupp's wage the Scottish Premiership side will cover.
The Ghanaian has not started a Premier League match all season but has made 12 appearances from the bench.

Newcastle = no grade, didn't attend class.

As we've seen from Simon Stone, no further incomings are expected at Manchester United.
James Ducker of The Telegraph says they had been linked with Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel, who looks to be heading for Tottenham, but that United did not want to pay the £5m loan fee for the 19-year-old.
They considered it to be an expensive risk for a largely unproven teenager.
Thumbs up this post if you think Manchester United's team is good enough to achieve anything this year.

It won't go down well with many supporters but it looks pretty certain now Manchester United won't be signing anyone today.
Their Profit and Sustainability position meant they could only buy someone if they sold at a profit - which essentially meant Alejandro Garnacho or Kobbie Mainoo - and they have not found the right loan deal.
United sources believe this approach proves they are maintaining a disciplined approach to their finances by not taking what they view to be reckless or expensive risks for unproven young players they couldn't buy at a later point.
They believe this means they will be in a better position in the summer, when players such as Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen will be out of contract and the amortisation on others, such as Casemiro and Antony, may have reduced to a point where a sale is possible without further reducing their PSR spending limits.
The flip side to this is United have shown repeatedly this season, they are not very good.
They are presently 13th in the Premier League and give or take a place or two, that is where I expect them to end up.
It brings the remainder of their Europa League and FA Cup campaigns into greater focus.
It is 35 years since United last had successive seasons where they finished eighth or lower.

As a Villa fan our business can range anywhere from A - E. If Rashford is a success an A if not an E as it would it have made sense in hindsight. If we don’t get a centre-back and we have to play with our best midfielder in defence again then also an E, and A if we do get one though. Unless Mings and Torres are back before the new signing is up to speed at which point he’ll be sat in the bench with everyone wondering why we bothered. Dunno. Anywhere from A-E!

Defender John Egan has left Burnley to join Hull for an undisclosed fee on an 18-month deal.
The 32-year-old Republic of Ireland international joined the Clarets on a free transfer in the summer after leaving Sheffield United but played only 234 minutes across eight appearances for the club.
Egan said: “I am delighted. I’d known about the interest for a couple of weeks but wasn’t sure if it was going to happen. Last night, I got a call and I made my way over this morning.
“The club has made some really good signings in January. It’s a really good squad, a very good manager; it just needs to drive up the league now."

Sarah: E - See the teacher, the principal and the school board.. Sarah a frustrated Arsenal fan.
Michael: Chelsea - E - no comments.
Jack: Wolves- C. Sorting out the leakiest defence in the league was a priority, and the addition of Emmanuel Agbadou has already had an impact. Hopefully with another CB and an athletic midfielder to come in today, that addresses immediate concerns.
Nick: C for Palace. Esse was needed but we have a manager capable of taking us up a notch from where we’ve seemingly existed forever now. However, much like the others, Glasner is expected to do that with the bare minimum or without ambitious acquisitions.

It is a measure of how Bournemouth is run these days that they have no need or desire to get involved in the deadline day scramble.
There has been suggestions around a deal for Lorient's Eli Junior Kroupi to join then, but even that would involve a loan back to the French club - and there is no certainty the deal will go through anyway.
Despite Liverpool's win at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, Andoni Iraola's men remain seventh, just a point off a Champions League spot.
Although they have a number of injuries at the moment, I suspect Iraola is quite happy to go to the end of the season with his squad as it is.
According to Paul Joyce of the Times, Middlesbrough are showing interest in Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton. The fee is said to be significantly above £10m depending on bonuses.
Morton is keen on regular playing time having been kept on the bench for the majority of the season.

Could really do with Potter actually signing someone for the Hammers today - Ferguson on loan and Ward-Prowse back is all well and good, but we need someone to step into Antonio’s shoes in his absence?
