  2. Robinson 'very proud' of St Mirren playerspublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 15 August

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland he is "very proud" of his players' performance as they had Brann "rocking".

"We score a brilliantly worked corner, a brilliant delivery from young Fraser Taylor and for 10 minutes, we had them rocking.

"Toyosi [Olusanya] slips over when he has a side-foot into the goal, the game could have been very different. The save from Oisin Smyth's effort too is a tremendous effort, credit to the goalkeeper.

"The goals we concede, that's the big disappointment, every goal is preventable. Poor individual errors cost us tonight.

"I am very proud of them, proud of the fans and we've got the taste of now, we want more.

"I wrote one word on the board before the game, and that was 'belief'. I said the only mistake you can make tonight is not believing in yourselves because we are good enough to get a result.

"Levels wise, they are a very, very good side with a great manager in a brilliant city.

"We put a performance in tonight that did me and the players proud, it did us justice.

"Had we had played like that over two legs, if we had that belief in the first leg, it might have been a different story."

  3. Kilmarnock to face Copenhagenpublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 15 August

The Danish side scrape through on penalties.

That looks a far harder test on paper for Kilmarnock.

Copenhagen finished second in their CHAMPIONS LEAGUE group last season. Crazy.

They beat Man Utd 4-3, drew 0-0 at Bayern Munich, beat Galatasaray. Man City eventually put them out in the last 16.

That will be a real tricky tie for Killie, but what an occasion.

  4. Killie's potential opponents in penaltiespublished at 20:43 British Summer Time 15 August

It's still unclear who Kilmarnock will face in the play-off round.

Banik Ostrava and Copenhagen are in a penalty shootout as I type this...

  5. Postpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 15 August

Derek McInnes adds that winning tonight is "a huge shot in the arm" financially for Kilmarnock.

Perhaps that will allow the manager to further strengthen his squad before the transfer deadline.

  6. 'We showed everything we weren't on Sunday' - McInnespublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 15 August

FT: Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (agg 2-3)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "Last season, we had so many games where we got results from being resilient, hard to play against, everything we weren't on Sunday.

"We played on the outside of their shape really well first half and we got the all important goal.

"We wanted to try and continue this run and we've now got a really exciting tie to come."

"They thought they had one foot in the next round, I felt that last week. I thought there was an overconfidence, we spoke about that."

On match-winner Joe Wright: "He was in such a poor place on Sunday, he felt like he let everyone down. But in football there's always another game. He's the guy who made the difference tonight."

Kilmarnock match-winner Joe Wright tells BBC Scotland: "All the boys are delighted in there. It was a brilliant team performance. We just worked so hard, tirelessly as a team and communicated well.

"To get a 1-0, it was a perfect result for us. That's what we were last season; difficult to score against and popping up with goals at good moments.

"I think we were comfortable in our shape. We worked on it. It looks unnatural when their goalkeeper is carrying the ball to the halfway line but it is something we were happy for them to do, which allowed us to nick possession and hit them on the counter attack.

"It's mainly the same squad with some new additions. From where we were two years ago to then a play-off game in the Conference League... it's a massive credit to everyone at the club."

What a few days for Joe Wright.

On Sunday, he's sent off in a game against St Johnstone that Kilmarnock go on on to lose 3-0.

Today, he nets the winner and delivers a colossal performance in defence to send his team through in Europe.

What a monumental effort from Killie.

A significant win in Europe as they make the Conference League play-off round.

They were under such pressure from Tromso, especially in the second half. Luck was on their side at times too, with the home side coming ever so close to scoring.

But Kilmarnock defended well and they held on. Great scenes at full-time, with the Killie players lapping up the applause from the travelling fans, who'll no doubt enjoy their night now.

Who will they play? Banik Ostrava or Copenhagen.
