Although they still trail, this has been an excellent response from St Mirren.

The Brann defence don't look convincing and are vulnerable to the pace from the St Mirren attack.

Shaun Rooney again, unsurprisingly, finds himself in a decent and dangerous attacking area.

    But he slips.

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (agg 2-3)

Kent-Are Antonsen's threatening back-post delivery is turned towards Robby McCrorie's goal.

The Killie goalie is beat but a well-timed, crucial clearance from Liam Donnelly keeps out the hosts.

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (agg 2-3)

Yaw Paintsil breezes beyond Danny Armstrong and Joe Wright on the wing, but the latter recovers well to halt the Tromso winger's promising run forward just outside the area.

Very exciting play from Paintsil. One to keep an eye on.

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

Toyosi Olusanya's pace is causing problems for the Brann backline.

He wins a free-kick out on the left and Caolan Boyd-Munce takes.

Alex Gogic at the front of the pack is the target, but the hosts clear their lines without conceding a shot.

    Tromso 0-0 Kilmarnock (agg 2-2)

The end behind the Kilmarnock goal looks like it's basically in some kind of Tromso housing scheme.

Are 'young teams' a thing in Norway? If so, Robby McCrorie could be in bother.

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

A fantastic tackle from Dennis Adeniran to stop a Brann counter, but he seems in a bit of bother for his efforts.

He's holding his knee, the physio is on, but I think he'll be alright.

Joe Wright held his run late and it's a brilliant header from Joe Wright.

    What a start for Killie.

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (agg 2-3)

Tromso race up the other end and test Robby McCrorie with a low shot.

It may have been ruled offside, but that is an immediate warning for Killie to focus.

  10. Postpublished at 18:14 British Summer Time 15 August

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

Joachim Soltvedt, the goalscorer, releases a wild effort from distance.

Confidence clearly high, but steady on.

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

Caolan Boyd-Munce swings in a free-kick as Saints look to respond, but Richard Taylor's header is off target.

    Joe Wright

    Limbs in the away end!

Joe Wright rises to meet a corner, it takes a big nick and the keeper can't keep it out.

Could actually be an own goal but nobody connected to Killie will care one bit.

After the rain lashing down for most of the day and grey skies, the sun is now out here.

It's blazing down on us in this main stand. Can hardly see a thing. The players aren't being affected though.

    Soltvedt

    Oh no.

Alex Gogic is shoved off the ball by Felix Myhre, who's been causing trouble already.

He cuts its back to Joachim Soltvedt, who still has a lot to do but tucks away a lovely effort.

Brann 0-0 St Mirren (agg 1-1)

A bright start for Brann down the right-hand side, but the first corner kick of the game goes to the Buddies.

Alex Gogic is able to keep it alive, just, at the back post and a long, deep ball from Richard Taylor is flung back in to the onrushing Shaun Rooney.

The man you want it to fall to, but he shanks his volley.

A let-off for the hosts who were sleeping.

    Tromso 0-0 Kilmarnock (agg 2-2)

Tromso, after holding the ball from kick-off, surge beyond the Killie backline with a neat one-two, but Oliver Bainbridge is back in time to cut out the threat.

Resulting corner from the loanee's challenge is half cleared before a wild effort from range flies wide from the hosts.

The ball over the top might be a weapon for St Mirren, but in these conditions it'll need to be spot on so it doesn't run on.
