Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

    What. A. Tackle.

St Mirren are pushing so are a bit light at the back, but Jaden Brown slides in stupendously to cut of Bard Finnhe.

    Wonderful work.

  2. 'Tromso not in control'published at 19:23 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (2-3 agg)

    Cammy Bell
Former Kilmarnock goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

Tromso had a long spell of control last week. They've not had that this week.

Kilmarnock have been much more disciplined and their press has been much, much better.

  3. Postpublished at 19:21 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (2-3 agg)

Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl is given too much time and space there.

The 18-year-old strolled forward towards Killie's goal before unleashing a low strike without any resistance.

Robby McCrorie got down low to keep the effort out, but it was far too easy for Hjerto-Dahl to get that shot away.

  4. Sweeper keeper (and then some)published at 19:20 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Scotland in Tromso

Not sure I'll ever get used to seeing a goalkeeper so far out of his goal.

Jakob Haugaard doesn't spend too much time in his area when his team-mates are in possession of the ball.

Like an extra outfielder in the Tromso team.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:20 British Summer Time 15 August

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

Richard Taylor, there's blocking off a run and there's bodying a player.

Ouch. Clear card. No doubt about this one.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:18 British Summer Time 15 August

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

Rolan Idowu is in the book.

Why? I'm not entirely sure, though I think it must have been a late one given the fans' reaction.

  7. CLOSE!published at 19:16 British Summer Time 15 August

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

Wow, Oisin Smyth, where'd that come from?

With his first touch, he fires a volley low across the deck.

With the ball skidding in the soaking rain, it's a tremendous effort matched by an even better save.

    That's more like it!

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:14 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (2-3 agg)

Killie keeper Robby McCrorie is now in the referee's book.

    I'll be honest, I don't know why.

  9. Postpublished at 19:13 British Summer Time 15 August

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

Caolan Boyd-Munce is off in the meantime, with Oisin Smyth on in his place.

Bard Finnhe goes down in the box after sneaking ahead of Alex Gogic.

He's claiming for a penalty with Ellery Balcombe, too, rushing in.

The referee deems simulation and a yellow card is given.

Being checked, of course. Play on.

  11. Postpublished at 19:12 British Summer Time 15 August

Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

    Richard Taylor, what a block!

Brann come down the right this time with Bard Finnhe facing goal.

It's destined to find the net, but Taylor's crucial intervention denies.

  12. Postpublished at 19:12 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (2-3 agg)

Bobby Wales feeds Matty Kennedy out wide and receives the ball back from the winger.

The young forward can't get his positioning right, however, and awkwardly fumbles his shot wide.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (2-3 agg)

The most obvious booking of all time.

Liam Donnelly picks up the first yellow of the evening after a wild challenge in the middle of the park.

  14. Postpublished at 19:06 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (2-3 agg)

A change for Tromso at the break as Yaw Paintsil is, surprisingly, hooked.

19-year-old wing-back Runar Norheim is on in his place.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:05 British Summer Time 15 August

Away we go again in both games.

  16. 'Killie can build on opener'published at 19:05 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (agg 2-3)

    Cammy Bell
Former Kilmarnock goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

    It has been really positive.

Derek McInnes will be delighted with the start and how they have imposed themselves on the game.

Joe Wright's goal is so crucial. Kilmarnock have something to cling onto and build on.

  18. Half-time options in Norwaypublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 15 August

HT: Tromso 0-1 Kilmarnock (agg 2-3)

    Gavin Wallace
    BBC Sport in Tromso

Ever wondered what the half-time scran is like in Norway?

Well in Tromso the choices are waffles with either jam or brown Norwegian cheese.

Can exclusively reveal they taste amazing.

  19. 'Robinson will be content despite scoreline'published at 18:58 British Summer Time 15 August

HT: Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland in Brann

Although St Mirren are trailing at the break, Stephen Robinson will be fairly content with his team's performance.

Other than losing the early goal, Saints have been more than a match for the Norwegians. With a little bit more composure up top, they could be on level terms.

However, Brann look very dangerous themselves and the visiting defence will have to be on their toes as the game progresses as another goal would probably make the Buddies' task impossible.

  20. HALF-TIME Brann 1-0 St Mirren (agg 2-1)published at 18:51 British Summer Time 15 August

Not a bad half at all from the Buddies, but they have it all to do in the second half if they want their European adventure to continue this season.

It was a sore start with Joachim Soltvedt finding the near post with a silky finish in the rain.

Just before half-time there, it could've been two.

A quick throw caught St Mirren sleeping but Ellery Balcombe - as he has so often already in his short St Mirren career - pulled off a stunning save.
