Away we go in both games in Norway.

  2. Who lies in wait?published at 17:56 British Summer Time 15 August

As you'd expect, the diifculty goes up a level for the Scottish pair if they manage to get through tonight.

For Kilmarnock, it's the winners of the tie between FC Copenhagen, who lead 1-0 after the first leg in Denmark, and Banik Ostrava of the Czech Republic.

Meanwhile, Astana await St Mirren in the play-off round if they get there after the side from Kazakhstan thumped Romanian outfit Corvinul Hunedoara 6-1 on Wednesday to secure an emphatic 8-2 win on aggregate.

Bobby Wales starting is a vote of confidence from Derek McInnes.

It would've been easy, in an away leg, to put an extra midfielder in.

You're just hoping that Kilmarnock - after the missed opportunity against Cercle Brugge - are going for it tonight. Why not go for it?

The atmosphere is building up nicely inside the Romssa Arena here in Tromso.

Across from where I'm sitting in the media section, Tromso's ultras are providing us with some pre-match entertainment.

There are about 300 Killie fans here and they're now inside the stadium and they too are making themselves heard.

  5. Scottish summer in Bergenpublished at 17:47 British Summer Time 15 August

    Brann v St Mirren (agg 1-1) (18:00)

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Sport Scotland in Bergen

The weather here in Bergen is similar to that in Paisley... in November!

Heavy rain has engulfed the city for the last 24 hours, but the pitch is in fantastic condition.

The stadium is surrounded by mountains that are covered by clouds, but if the Buddies can manage a win here this evening, the noise from the travelling fans who have made the journey will blow that away.

There is a terrific atmosphere inside and it's all set for what could be a fantastic night for the Paisley club.

  6. 'We want a happy dressing room' - McInnespublished at 17:44 British Summer Time 15 August

    Tromso v Kilmarnock (agg 2-2) (18:00)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland he wants to make sure it's "a happy dressing room" at the end of the game.

"We're proud that we've brought the club to this stage, we've done so well to enjoy these moments but we want to enjoy winning.

"We've had happy dressing rooms all over the country, but we want to win here in Norway and have a happy dressing room here.

"I've just said to the players, be what we are, because if we do that we should be able to deal with what they've got and impose ourselves on the game."

    Looks fun. Very fun.

  8. Euro hangovers on show on Sunday?published at 17:40 British Summer Time 15 August

Weekend preparation wasn't ideal for Kilmarnock and St Mirren.

Both suffered defeats on Sunday, with 10-man Killie enduring a particularly miserable afternoon as St Johnstone left Ayrshire with three goals and three points.

A pretty remarkable result given Derek McInnes' home record at Rugby Park.

It wasn't much better for the Buddies, who fell to a 3-1 loss to Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

  9. 'We must show best version of ourselves' - Robinsonpublished at 17:36 British Summer Time 15 August

    Brann v St Mirren (agg 1-1) (18:00)

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "We've gone for real pace up front. We've got two boys who are very, very quick on the break.

"We didn't show the best version of ourselves last week. We showed our resilience but today we want to show that when we land on the ball, we're a good side.

"We need to do that because if we defend for 90 minutes, we'll get beat."

On Alex Gogic and Caolan Boyd-Munce making the team, he added: "They were major doubts.

"But Alex Gogic is a warrior and it's a game he doesn't want to miss and Caolan's scan came back clear."

'I don't want to watch Tromso play in the play-off round next week'

Derek McInnes wants his Kilmarnock side to thrive on the pressure of having to win Norway.

With the tie at 2-2 after the first leg, only a win will do for the Ayrshire side.

  11. A weekend off for Brann & Tromsopublished at 17:31 British Summer Time 15 August

Tromso and Brann both go into tonight's second legs fresh as daisies after having the weekend off.

No, we will not be getting into a discussion about why the SPFL doesn't do the same for their European representatives.

One of the most tedious Scottish football arguments, which is a close second to the ticket allocation carry on surrounding a certain derby fixture.

    Anyway...

It was a tale of two late, late goals.

After throwing away a one-goal lead, teenager Bobby Wales earned his side a precious draw by netting a 92nd-minute equaliser.

It was the 19-year-old's first Kilmarnock goal - not a bad time to get it.

Meanwhile, St Mirren were digging in against an impressive Brann team in Paisley.

They did eventually go one behind and looked certain for defeat until Toyosi Olusanya poked in a 90th-minute leveller, sparking wild scenes at the Smisa.

The fitness of Alex Gogic and Caolan Boyd-Munce was a worry for Stephen Robinson pre-match, but both have timed their run perfectly and are in the starting line-up against Brann.

There are three changes from the side who were defeated by Aberdeen in the Premiership at the weekend.

Alex Iacovitti, Scott Tanser and James Scott drop out for Richard Taylor, Jaden Brown and Jonah Ayunga.

Captain Mark O'Hara is still out.

    No going back from here.

Only wins will do for Scottish pair Kilmarnock and St Mirren if they are to keep their European dreams alive.

The Premiership duo are in Norway and both kick off at 18:00 BST as they bid to progress to the play-off round of Conference League qualifying.

With Killie at Tromso and the Buddies facing Brann, it will be far from easy but nowhere near impossible.
