    Celtic 2-0 Hibernian

Hibs get a clear sight of goal once more, but Nectar Triantis can only shoot straight at goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

Lewis Miller then has a shot blocked over the bar before the Australian heads straight at the Dane.

How they haven't scored is remarkable.

    Heart of Midlothian 2-0 Dundee

James Wilson is off, after the 17-year-old played a part in the first goal for Hearts.

He looked lively up front but only had one real chance that bounced off his shins, rather than swivelling and hitting first time.

    Alan Forrest on.

Fellow substitute Roland Idowu gets clattered on the edge of the Motherwell box by Steve Seddon - who picks up a yellow card - and gifts St Mirren a really dangerous free-kick.

  8. CLOSE!published at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Celtic 2-0 Hibernian

Hibs could, and perhaps should, be in this contest given the amount of clear-cut chances they have had this afternoon.

An underhit backpass from Luke McCowan allows Elie Youan to prod a shot at goal that Kasper Schmeichel blocks before Nicky Cadden's follow-up effort is turned behind.

    Ouch!published at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Dundee United 0-0 Kilmarnock

VAR is having another look at Danny Armstrong's sliding challenge on Vicko Sevelj.

It looks ugly and Sevelj is hurt, but there's no red card in the end for the Kilmarnock winger.

Change for Kilmarnock now with Bobby Wales taking over from Bruce Anderson in attack.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

What a save from Ellery Balcombe to deny Steve Seddon! The Buddies goalkeeper tips Seddon's volley on to the bar and out for a corner.

The hosts have had the better of the second half, but Motherwell are growing into this one.

  14. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Aberdeen 0-1 St Johnstone

Dearie me, Jack Milne tries to whip a cross to the back post for Kevin Nisbet, but it almost catches out St Johnstone goalkeeper Josh Rae.

He just claws it away at the last moment.

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

Joe Newell has his head in his hands. He couldn't do much about the own goal, with Adam Idah's header coming straight at him.

The Hibs captain also missed a glorious first-half chance when he blasted over from close range.

Not his afternoon, not manager David Gray's either. It's those fine margins again. Sound familiar, Hibs fans?

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Aberdeen 0-1 St Johnstone

Aberdeen striker Kevin Nisbet is booked for diving on the edge of the box. Rightly so. He goes down expecting a nudge from behind that never came.

Poor from the Dons' number nine.
