  1. Dons changes?published at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

    HT: Aberdeen 0-1 St Johnstone

    Tyrone Smith
BBC Sport Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

Not many Aberdeen players out warming up during the break.

Does that mean Jimmy Thelin could be set to ring the changes for the second half?

  2. Shankland makes the differencepublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

HT: Heart of Midlothian 2-0 Dundee

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle Park

A terrific opening 45 minutes for Hearts and, once again, Lawrence Shankland is the darling of the home fans with a double to end the striker's barren streak.

For Dundee, no surprise if they look to bring on Simon Murray to give them something up front to aim for as they have been anonymous in the opening period.

Sam Dalby’s early shot off the post is pretty much all we’ve had to write home about here, but the half-time pie promises much….

  7. Who's the happier manager?published at 15:54 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

    HT: Celtic 1-0 Hibernian

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

You'd think Brendan Rodgers would be the happier of the two bosses at the break, given he has a one goal lead. I'm not so sure.

The ease with which Celtic were carved open by Hibs will worry the home manager and give great encouragement to his opposite number.

David Gray has watched on in bemused frustration as his side soaked up Celtic's pressure while creating three outstanding opportunities to score.

  8. Dons support unhappypublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

    HT: Aberdeen 0-1 St Johnstone

    Tyrone Smith
BBC Sport Scotland at Pittodrie Stadium

Boos ring out around Pittodrie as the half time whistle blows.

That is the first time I have heard that this season.

The home support aren't just unhappy with the scoreline. More the lethargic performance I would imagine.

Job done so far for St Johnstone - they have stifled the Dons and made good use of the possession when they have had it.

  9. HALF-TIME Celtic 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

Celtic lead through Arne Engel's third league goal of the season, but Hibs will look back on the first 45 minutes with real regret.

Three golden opportunities were spurned by Mykola Kuharevich and Joe Newell - and, at Parkhead, you simply cannot get away with that.

Brendan Rodgers' side have been below their best, despite dominating possession, and one suspects his players will get something of a rocket during the interval.

  10. HALF-TIME Heart of Midlothian 2-0 Dundeepublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

Lawrence Shankland's goal drought is well and truly over and Hearts are in control of a game for the first time in a long time.

The first was a gorgeously-placed header and the second was a sclaffed rebound. Both will mean just as much to the Scotland international.

  11. HALF-TIME - Aberdeen 0-1 St Johnstonepublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

All possession and very little bite from Aberdeen. St Johnstone have defended well and been really bright with the ball.

Makenzie Kirk's goal is the difference!

  12. HALF-TIME St Mirren 0-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

Stephen Robinson's hosts have enjoyed the better of the chances and possession in the first half but have failed to make it count as they go into the break goalless.

A change required for counterpart Stuart Kettlewell at the break maybe?

  13. HALF-TIME Dundee United 0-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

United will be pleased with their first-half performance but not the scoreline. Kilmarnock will be concerned about how they've played but relieved still to be level on terms.

It's been all United - but no goals yet.

  14. Hibs just lack a finisherpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

    Celtic 1-0 Hiberian

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

I bet Hibs can't wait to get Kieron Bowie back fit. If they had a finisher, they'd probably be ahead here.

Bar one defensive lapse for the Celtic goal, Hibs' football has been good. At times, really good.

They can't afford to concede again, however, or all their fine play will be for naught.

  15. Glovely stuffpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

    Dundee United 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tannadice

Of the 20 outfield players at Tannadice, we have four glove-wearers on this bitterly cold afternoon.

They are David Babunski, Vicko Sevelj, Sam Dalby and Kyle Vassell.

The other 16, we applaud your resolve.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

    St Mirren 0-0 Motherwell

First real chance for Motherwell as Alex Gogic gets a booking and gives away a free-kick for his challenge on Andy Halliday just outside the St Mirren box.

Halliday takes and his bending effort just edges wide of Ellery Balcombe's post.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December

    Celtic 1-0 Hibernian

Celtic goal-scorer Arne Engels picks up a yellow card for a stamp on Joe Newell.

VAR are have a look... but there's not clearly not enough force for the officials to recommend it's upgraded to red.
