A quartet of goals from new signing Katie Wilkinson underlined a dominant performance from Rangers against Aberdeen.
Jo Potter’s side strolled to a six-goal lead in the first half at the Balmoral Stadium, with Wilkinson taking just five minutes to open her Rangers account.
Lizzie Arnot's cross found the head of Wilkinson, who glanced it home past Megan Sidey in the Aberdeen net.
Six minutes later Rio Hardy made it two, turning home from close range after a rebound off the post, then scored the third with 10 minutes of the half to go as Arnott once again whipped the ball in from the left.
Arnott made it four moments later, before unfortunate Aberdeen defender Chloe Gover turned Mia McAuley’s cross into her own net and Wilkinson claimed her second in stoppage time.
Aberdeen offered a brief glimmer of resistance in the second half, with Hannah Innes rattling Rangers keeper Vic Esson's crossbar, and the Dons back-line proving more resilient at keeping Rangers’ forward line at bay.
But the cup double winners proved too much for Colin Bell's side, and Liv McLoughlin made it seven on the 67th minute, getting on the end of a well-worked short corner.
Wilkinson claimed a debut hat-trick with another deft header from an Arnott cross, before wrapping up her fourth three minutes later.
Arnott made it 10 in the final moments, curling a Tess Middag ball into the net, before Laura Berry's strike in stoppage time.
