Many thousands of West Ham fans have stayed behind for a goodbye - I presume - from David Moyes. They were rotten in the first 45 minutes today but much improved in the second half.

Luton’s players have spent a long time out on the pitch after the game. They’re stood in front of their supporters, with crestfallen faces. They know their race is run, even if relegation hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

The Luton fans are chanting the name of their manager Rob Edwards. They’re giving him and all of the players a tremendous amount of love.

A lot of West Ham fans are now clapping Rob Edwards and his Luton players off the pitch. What you have to call a classy gesture.

Vincent Kompany said really early on that his squad of players weren't quite Premier League players yet. It was going to be a journey for them throughout this season, they're going to learn and develop and we've seen that.

They've given it a really good go, I didn't think a few weeks ago we'd sit here with a little bit of hope for them. I think they'll bounce back.

No Luton fans, or players have left the pitch yet. Mutual respect.

Relegation has been a long time coming. I think the one positive for Burnley is that there won't be much change to the squad. They'll be going into the Championship really strong and for me out of who we expect to be the three relegated teams they look the most likely to bounce back and have another go at the Premier League,

They'll be all the better for this season which has been a learning curve for them because they have gotten better. For the first 27 games they averaged 0.5 points per game and after that they averaged 1.2.

Rob Edwards looks absolutely crestfallen but he's given an ovation by the Luton fans in east London. Could Pep have done much more with his resources?

Burnley are relegated for the fourth time in nine Premier League campaigns: 2009/10, 2014/15, 2021/22 and 2023/24.

There's a lot of tears in eyes as Luton's players come to terms with their fate. For a large period today they were on top and the great escape looked on but West Ham found their feet in the second half.

A point or more for Nottingham Forest in the late kick-off will confirm Luton's relegation but barring some sort of freak last day Luton wll join Burnley and Sheffield United in next season's Championship.

Nathan Collins is limping as he's finally back on his feet but he tries to jog over to the touchline.

The final whistle goes as the home fans boo the officials.

Newcastle fans can probably put their passport back in the drawer for the next few days. Their European hopes remain in the balance.
