    Oxford 0-1 Swansea

Ronald already has an assist for Swansea this afternoon and the Brazilian almost collects a second.

He clips the ball to the far post but two players get in each other's way and as a result fail to get a header on goal.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time

    Blackburn 0-1 Sheffield Utd

Callum O'Hare is the second Sheffield United player in the book.

The creative midfielder is shown a yellow card for a deliberate handball.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Stoke 1-0 Derby

Derby's Marcus Harness is into the book for a cynical challenge on Bae Jun-ho.

  4. Postpublished at 13:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Oxford 0-1 Swansea

Swansea had just under 68% of the ball in that first-half but only lead 1-0.

Ruben Rodrigues header against the crossbar for Oxford in first-half stoppage time will be a clear reminder the job is by no means done.

  5. 'Moore's header tipped over'published at 13:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Blackburn 0-1 Sheffield Utd

    Andy Giddings
    Sports Editor, BBC Sheffield

Kieffer Moore's bullet header tipped over the bar by Pears, good set-piece and good football by United.

Moore unlucky not to add to his tally there with his powerful header.

    Good chance.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:35 Greenwich Mean Time

    Stoke 1-0 Derby

  9. Second halfpublished at 13:32 Greenwich Mean Time

We're getting back under way in our three early Championship games.

  10. Postpublished at 13:32 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Oxford 0-1 Swansea

Just as well Swansea scored today.

A sixth goalless league game would have seen them match their club record for successive blanks set back in February 1996.

The record for most games without a goal since the second tier rebranded as the Championship is seven.

Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Bolton and Preston (this season in their case) all jointly hold that unwanted record.

Still, they're all way off the record for most successive games at this level without a goal.

Coventry City failed to score in 11 games in a row in 1919-20!

  11. Stoke great Frank Soo enters English Football's Hall of Famepublished at 13:25 Greenwich Mean Time

English football will atone for a notable omission in its history when pre-Second World War star Frank Soo is finally honoured today.

The former Stoke City half-back - the first England international of East Asian heritage - will officially be inducted into the National Football Museum’s Hall of Fame at half-time in today's game.

Derbyshire-born Soo, the son of a Chinese father and English mother, was raised in Liverpool and began his career at Prescot Cables before joining Stoke in 1933.

BBC Radio Stoke on Frank Soo

He played alongside Potters great Stanley Matthews, who was also his team-mate when he made the first of his nine wartime international appearances for England against Wales at Cardiff City’s Ninian Park in May 1942.

As well as being the first non-white person to play for England, he is still the only player from an East Asian background to represent the full men’s team.

Born in 1914, Soo made 170 appearances for Stoke in the 1930s, then carried on playing after the war for Leicester City, Luton Town and Chelmsford City. He died in Cheadle, Staffordshire in 1991, aged 76.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    Oxford 0-1 Swansea

The Swans lead and deservedly so.

Zan Vipotnik ended the Welsh side's wait for a first goal since September 29 by converting Ronald's low cross into the six yard area after 38 minutes.

The Slovenian international's second goal of the season is the least the visitors deserve as they've dominated the opening half.

Myles Peart-Harris has also headed against the crossbar while Jamie Cumming has saved from Goncalo Franco.

Oxford failed to seriously threaten until their first effort on goal on the stroke of half-time with Tyler Goodrham's attempted curler blocked and from the resulting corner Ruben Rodrigues flicked a header against the top of the bar.

Swansea have been impressive and Oxford's unbeaten home league record is under serious threat.

  13. 'Rak-Sakyi has been excellent'published at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Blackburn 0-1 Sheffield Utd

    Andy Giddings
    Sports Editor, BBC Sheffield

Sheffield United have certainly had their moments since going a goal up.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has been absolutely excellent down the right hand side.

Michael Cooper hasn't had an awful lot to do in the Blades goal.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    Stoke 1-0 Derby

Stoke City head coach Narcis PelachImage source, Rex Features

Derby's feisty start was silenced following Tom Cannon's penalty kick to give Stoke the lead and, perhaps most importantly, a foothold in the game.

It seemed that the Rams were going to smother the home side with their attacking prowess but a sloppy error from keeper Jacob Zetterstrom on Cannon saw the striker be gifted an opportunity for a 1v1 showdown.

The penalty went Cannon's way and Stoke took the opportunity to calm the game down with some possession based play.

Derby had a few opportunities but some poor passes meant they slipped away and their first corner ended up meeting a Stoke head to wrap up the first-half.

  15. Postpublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time

    Stoke 1-0 Derby

Derby are awarded their first corner of the afternoon and this is where they are most dangerous.

The Rams have almost double the amount of goals from a set-piece than the second highest set-piece scorers in the league.

Stoke are up for the task though after Tom Cannon gets up first to clear the threat and a man in red and white collects.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time

    Blackburn 0-1 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United players celebrate after Harrison Burrows' goal at BlackburnImage source, Rex Features

So far, so good for Sheffield United.

Harrison Burrows' first goal for the club has them in the lead and heading second as it stands.

  17. 'Definitely out of first gear'published at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time

    Blackburn 0-1 Sheffield United

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Radio 5 Live at Ewood Park

United’s goal has certainly turned up the volume all round here.

Tyrhys Dolan has been looking busy for Rovers as one of their brightest sparks but he and Yuki Ohashi are really up against it now against a formidable Blades backline.

Crystal Palace loanee Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is continuing to find joy down the right. Keep your eye on him.

These early kick-offs can be slow starters but we’re definitely out of first gear here!

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time

    Blackburn 0-1 Sheffield Utd

Jack Robinson gets a card to mark his 100th league start for Sheffield United.

Sadly for him it's a yellow one for hacking down Tyrhys Dolan.

  19. 'Petered out at bit for both sides'published at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time

    Stoke 1-0 Derby

    Sohail Sahi
    BBC Radio Stoke commentator

It started off really quickly here, after Stoke scored there was a good burst of energy.

After about the 18th minute mark it's petered out a bit for both sides.

  20. Postpublished at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time

    Stoke 1-0 Derby

Derby's Ben Osborn gets himself into a great position on the left, unmarked, and calls for the ball.

His request is heeded but not well executed. The pass is sliced wide and Stoke have the chance to get themselves into position.

    Potential chance goes begging.
