    Hull City 1-1 Portsmouth

Great ball into the box by Joe Gelhardt from Hull City's right.

Whipped in with real pave from the byline and Kyle Joseph gets up high six yards out to head towards goal but he can't get the contact he wants and it goes well, well wide.

    What a gift!

My word... this is an horrendous mistake from Preston keeper Daniel Iversen.

    They've been so watertight.

Iversen, under no pressure at all, has the ball in his own box and shapes to kick down field.

He runs up to strike it with his left but the ball flicks off his right foot and he slips.

Mihailo Ivanovic, who hasn't been able to buy a goal, gleefully latches on to it and taps into the net for his second goal of the season.

    Blackburn 0-1 Derby

    Ian Barton
    BBC Radio Lancashire summariser

It is going to be so difficult for Blackburn to break this Derby side down, we know they are going to stick 11 men behind the ball.

It really feels like a sucker punch for Rovers to concede in the way they have.

    Breaking

    Some breaking news for you.

Middlesbrough have given head coach Rob Edwards permission to speak to Premier League side Wolves.

"We initially rejected an approach from Wolves on the basis that Rob signed a three-year contract with MFC less than six months ago," a Boro statement has said.

"Following discussions with Rob we were disappointed to learn that he wanted to speak with Wolves regarding their head coach vacancy.

"We have now agreed terms with Wolves, subject to completion of the relevant paperwork. First team coaches Adi Viveash and Harry Watling, and Academy manager Craig Liddle, will take charge of team affairs for Saturday’s game against Birmingham City at the Riverside."

    Hull City 1-1 Portsmouth

    Peter Swan
Former Hull City player on BBC Radio Humberside

If you go back to when that goal started, it was when Charlie Hughes won the ball back, ten yards from his own box. Fantastic play from him.

A fantastic run from Enis Destan as well. Very well deserved

    Millwall 0-1 Preston

Millwall are knocking at the door but so far it's not happening for the home side.

Thierno Ballo flicks the ball up and goes for an audacious volley in the box but doesn't catch it well enough and it's an easy save for Daniel Iversen.

Lots to ponder for Alex Neil with half time approaching.

  7. 'It is not a penalty'published at 13:04 GMT

    Blackburn 0-1 Derby

    Malcolm Christie
Former Derby striker on BBC Radio Derby

I can see why the Blackburn fans are not happy, but Clarke's hand was by his side when the ball hit it, it is not a penalty and the referee has made the right decision.

  8. Postpublished at 13:03 GMT

    Hull City 1-1 Portsmouth

Only league leaders Coventry have scored more goals than Hull City's 24 so far this season, admittedly they have scored a whopping 15 more than the Tigers but the point still stands.

It wasn't the finest start from the home side today but their goal was one of real quality.

  9. Postpublished at 13:03 GMT

    Blackburn 0-1 Derby

Tell you what Carlton Morris is equally handy in both boxes, he does brilliantly to beat Lewis Miller to a cross in the box to head away from danger, and gets a bump on the head for his trouble.

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:01 GMT

    Blackburn 0-1 Derby

Andri Gudjohnsen's attempted dink into the area from the left is blocked by Matt Clarke, the fans howl for a penalty for handball, his arm was definitely in the vicinity, but Thomas Kirk waves away the appeals.

Replays suggest it was his backside rather than his hand.

Fiery atmosphere at Ewood Park for an early kick-off though...

Derby County's Carlton Morris celebratesImage source, PA Media

Carlton Morris has now scored 10 goals in his 15 league appearances for Derby County, more than the 29-year-old managed in the whole of last season for Luton Town (8).

It's 8 November but already the third most prolific season of his career, beaten only by 2022-23 (20) and 2023-24 (11).

On the field the temperature is rising and the tackles are flying in.

They'll need a two week break after this game at this rate.

  12. Postpublished at 12:59 GMT

    Millwall 0-1 Preston

Millwall are dominating the ball and getting into some great positions, winning lots of corners, but are yet to really test Daniel Iversen in the Preston goal.

The Lilywhites haven't really been out of their half since Michael Smith's goal.

But so far so good for Paul Heckingbottom's side.

  13. goal

GOAL: Hull City 1-1 Portsmouthpublished at 12:58 GMT

    Enis Destan (27 mins)

I said there'd be more goals!

The Tigers move the ball well down their right and skipper Lewie Coyle is played in on the overlap and swings in a ball to the near post.

Regan Slater misses/dummies it and Enis Destan is there behind him to batter home his first goal in his first league start for the club.

    Lovely stuff.

  14. Postpublished at 12:57 GMT

    Millwall 0-1 Preston

Aidomo Emakhu has posed a real threat to the Preston defence for Millwall but he won't want to watch this one back too many times.

He shifts the ball on to his left foot while out wide on the left and thumps it all the way out for a throw-in.

Was it a cross? Was it a shot?

    Who knows.

  15. 'Portsmouth full of confidence'published at 12:57 GMT

    Hull City 0-1 Portsmouth

    Andrew Moon
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

A really decent passage of play from Pompey once again, along with some excellent pressing.

Portsmouth have lost just one of their last 11 games here at Hull, so they will be full of confidence.

  16. 'Rovers need to move the ball quicker'published at 12:56 GMT

Rovers need to move the ball quicker, but it has certainly been better in the last few minutes.

    Millwall 0-1 Preston

    Lovely play from Millwall.

Casper De Norre finds Mihailo Ivanovic with a good ball into the box but the Serbian slips before he can get his shot away.

He's on that kind of run at the moment.

  18. Postpublished at 12:54 GMT

    Blackburn 0-1 Derby

Blackburn are trying to work their way back into the game, they haven't mustered a shot in anger in the opening quarter of this game, but they have at least begun to work the ball into the Rams half and have won their first corner.

  19. CLOSE!published at 12:54 GMT

    Millwall 0-1 Preston

Millwall win a corner and it comes out to Derek Mazou-Sacko on the edge of the area, whose first-time hit bobbles through and is cleared off the line by Ben Whiteman, though Daniel Iversen will feel like he had it covered.

The second corner comes to nothing for the hosts.

  20. Postpublished at 12:54 GMT

    Hull City 0-1 Portsmouth

    Portsmouth have their tails up.

The home side get blocks on a couple of attempted long rangers before Josh Murphy keeps Ivor Pandur honest at his near post after playing a one-two at a corner.
