With Allan Saint-Maximin we know he has the pace. He wins possession and turns defence into attack.

Szymanski whips it across Onana's goal, but he gets the tiniest of touches on it.

Fenerbahce are dominating possession. Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are struggling for service.

James Maddison, following his half-time substitution against West Ham, and the returning Richarlison, will both be looking to catch the eye tonight and they have been key players in this bright start by the home side.

Spurs have looked by far the more dangerous so far and Mikey Moore has already gone close.

There's a lengthy break in play as AZ's Ruben van Bommel, the son of Mark van Bommel, receives treatment.

  4. goal

GOAL - Rangers 1-0 FCSBpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 24 October

    Tom Lawrence (9 mins)

Good work from the home side. Vaclav Cerny works some space down the right-hand side and cuts it back to the edge of the penalty area where the advancing Tom Lawrence unleashes a strike into the bottom corner.

That's back-to-back goals in the Europa League for the midfielder.

  5. Man Utd need to take controlpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 0-0 Man Utd

In theory, Manchester United should be a class above Fenerbahce.

However, they need to control the game. With the crowd as it is, they will respond to any sign of encouragement from the home team.

United have to deny them the ball in key areas otherwise it could get quite uncomfortable.

Noussair Mazraoui has shown a willingness to chase possession but United need to be good when they have it.

  6. Postpublished at 20:11 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 0-0 Man Utd

Fenerbahce are already starting to look dangerous but United are not helping themselves. Manuel Ugarte gives away possession cheaply allowing the home side to power forward.

Joe: It's that time again. #bbcfootball, you have my undivided attention for the next 90-odd minutes unless Spurs go a couple down. Then I might find an old episode of The Archers instead.

Well, the atmosphere in this stadium is quite incredible.

Manchester United do like to play out from the back and Fenerbahce will pressurise those defenders.

It's a game for me Manchester United have got to win.

Now a corner for the hosts and the ball falls nicely for Fred who lashes it into Row Z.

There was no composure whatsoever from the Brazilian who will be desperate to score against his old club.

  10. Postpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 24 October

    TNS 0-0 Astana

The New Saints have been under the pump from the get go here.

First they hit the bar then Connor Roberts is called into action with an important save from a tight angle.

They're having to ride a wave of pressure at the moment.

  11. 'Man Utd have tried to dominate possession'published at 20:07 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 0-0 Man Utd

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It does look like Mazraoui is going to play in that 10 role.

It's an incredible noise, not a single person is sat on their seat. You have to give Man Utd credit, they have tried to dominate possession and that's what they've got to do.

Either Ten Hag is a genius or has lost the plot with playing a full-back as a number ten. Waiting with baited breath.

    Fenerbahce 0-0 Man Utd

First moment of danger for Manchester United as Bright Osayi-Samuel finds space inside the box before firing into the side-netting.

It's not that long ago he was playing in League Two for Blackpool!

  14. CLOSE!published at 20:07 British Summer Time 24 October

    Tottenham 0-0 AZ Alkmaar

Teenager Mikey Moore whips a cross in from the right but Richarlison is beaten to it.

The 17-year-old Moore will be looking to shine on his first home start, and moments later he's not far off an early goal as he steers a header narrowly wide.

Tottenham have taken no time to assert themselves here.

  15. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 24 October

    Rangers 0-0 FCSB

It's not going to count! The referee has given a free-kick in favour of Rangers.

The home side have massively got away with one there.

  16. Loud whistlespublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 0-0 Man Utd

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter in Istanbul

When Manchester United get the ball there is an ear-piercing whistle from the home fans, which stops when the home side get it back.

I am not sure quite how long they will keep that up for. It is pretty loud.

  17. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 24 October

Good luck to Erik ten Hag getting his instructions across to his players in this noise. He's standing on the edge of his technical area bellowing something.

The noise from the stands is ear-splitting.

A quiet start in the grand scheme of things with neither keeper called into action so far.

  18. goal

GOAL - Rangers 0-1 FCSBpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 24 October

    David Miculescu (2 mins)

Jack Butland makels a right mess of that and David Miculescu has the ball in the back of the net!

Butland dilly dallies on the ball, takes too many touches and Miculescu takes advantage.

    Rangers want a foul, though...

  19. Postpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 24 October

    Tottenham 0-0 AZ Alkmaar

It's two wins from two for Tottenham in Europe so far this season and they'll look to maintain that perfect start at home this evening against an AZ side who have lost their last four in all competitions.

Plenty of noise from the home fans right from the start in north London following a spectacular light show at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

  20. Postpublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 0-0 Man Utd

What an atmosphere in Istanbul. It is B-O-U-N-C-I-N-G inside the ground and every Manchester United touch is been jeered by 45,000 excited home fans.
