    HISTORY MADE!

A lovely ball from Jordan Williams on the left-hand side and Rory Holden gets up at the far post to head into the top corner.

What a moment. A first goal in European competition for a Welsh side.

    Rangers 2-0 FCSB

    Neil McCann
    Former Rangers winger on Sportsound

Rangers have got themselves in the box seat. They are in a fantastic position.

The must not do too many square passes. Do not let the tempo drop.

FCSB are hanging by a thread. They do not look good under pressure when in possession and they are now starting to struggle in possession.

  3. 'Ugarte's protected the back four'published at 20:37 British Summer Time

    Fenerbahce 0-1 Man Utd

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Man Utd have looked a unit.

The big thing is Man Utd are not always looking to play short. This evening they have gone longer from the goalkeeper.

That was well defended from Manuel Ugarte. He has read the game well and has timed some good challenges - he's helped protect the back four.

  4. Postpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time

    Fenerbahce 0-0 Man Utd

Manuel Ugarte is shining like a beacon in Istanbul.

Whisper it quietly, but this could be the £50m signing's best game in a Manchester United shirt.

  5. Postpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time

    TNS 0-0 Astana

TNS can be really pleased with the way they have played so far.

They've defended well and had one or two chances of their own.

Daniel Davies looks to be in a bit of bother. He's holding his ribs/stomach area. Perhaps winded? Important player for the home side so they will hope it's nothing more than that.

  6. Postpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time

    Rangers 2-0 FCSB

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

Excellent finish, shocking defending, simple as that.

They give the ball away but they've been pressuring really well Rangers.

On his right foot, beautiful goal! Great goal.

Werner needs one to go in off his backside, feel for the lad.

  8. 'Top hand save'published at 20:34 British Summer Time

    Tottenham 0-0 AZ Alkmaar

    Clive Allen
Former Tottenham forward on TNT Sports

Well he had to be really sharp across his goal line, Fraser Forster.

It's the first save he's had to make.

It's a good attempt from Penetra, just getting in front of Ben Davies and a top hand save from the goalkeeper.

  9. Postpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time

    Tottenham 0-0 AZ Alkmaar

James Maddison goes down inside the box under a challenge by Alexandre Penetra but the referee signals only for a corner, and the VAR decides not to intervene.

In real-time it looked like he might have a case but replays suggest Maddison perhaps went down too easily.

  10. Harrison happy enough so farpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time

    The New Saints 0-0 Astana

    Chris Wathan
BBC Sport Wales at New Meadow

In between barking orders, TNS boss Craig Harrison seems happy with his side's efforts. They've survived some scares, but have looked to play too.

Speaking to me last week, he was keen not to lose the defensive discipline that served them so well against Fiorentina, but was also eager to show this side can hurt teams. Perhaps his only gripe is that Declan McManus didn't quite make the most of TNS' two big chances.

  11. Postpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time

    Fenerbahce 0-1 Man Utd

This is decent game-management by Erik ten Hag's side.

They've managed to silence the over-excited home fans and have their noses in front.

United are starting to dictate the pace.

  12. goal

GOAL - Rangers 2-0 FCSBpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time

    Vaclav Cerny (31 mins)

    That is a brilliant goal.

It's sloppy play from FCSB but Vaclav Cerny takes full advantage. He nips the ball away, drifts to the edge of the 18-yard box and curls a beautiful strike into the back of the net.

An assist and a goal for the Czech winger.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:31 British Summer Time

    Tottenham 0-0 AZ Alkmaar

What a save that is by Fraser Forster!

Alexandre Penetra gets in front of Ben Davies and heads towards the top corner, but Forster leaps across to his right to push the ball away and keep the scores level.

  14. 'Onana seems a lot more comfortable'published at 20:31 British Summer Time

    Fenerbahce 0-1 Man Utd

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Andre Onana of Manchester United in actionImage source, Getty Images

Andre Onana is starting to win me over and convince me.

It is difficult to settle into the Premier League and when you play in a team which struggles it's even harder.

When the ball goes back to him, he seems a lot more comfortable.

  15. Jose can't believe itpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time

    Fenerbahce 0-1 Man Utd

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter in Istanbul

We had the first sign of exasperation then when Manuel Ugarte slid in to make that block.

Mourinho clearly felt his side should have scored but Ugarte was there in an instant.

  16. Werner has 'no confidence'published at 20:29 British Summer Time

    Tottenham 0-0 AZ Alkmaar

    Clive Allen
Former Tottenham forward on TNT Sports

Timo Werner crosses the ball past AZ Alkmaar's Japanese defender Seiya MaikumaImage source, Getty Images

It's a fabulous run from Werner, stays onside. Bergvall right off the outside of his right boot.

Now he just composes himself, but no confidence or conviction to strike with any venom.

  17. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time

    TNS 0-0 Astana

Stanislav Basmanov does really well down the right-hand side and it looks like the visitors could finally have the opening but his pass to the striker is a poor one.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:29 British Summer Time

    Tottenham 0-0 AZ Alkmaar

James Maddison receives the ball inside the penalty area and does really well to create a yard of space to dig out a cross towards Mikey Moore, but the outnumbered teenager can't quite get to it.

Spurs are in again moments later with Timo Werner closing in on goal, but the chance is totally wasted by the German who side-foots his shot straight at AZ keeper Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro.

Ross Matthewman: Despite all the focus on the crowd, Mourinho, and Man Utd’s frailties, this Fenerbahce team really is just a cast of “has beens” and the “never quite good enough”.

  20. Postpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time

    Fenerbahce 0-1 Man Utd

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Andre Onana pushes it out into his six yard box, but Manuel Ugarte slides across out of nowhere.

One of the best blocks you will see this season.
