I don't think Lewis Hamilton is going to be a very happy man and it's such a contrast from being on the podium earlier today in the sprint race.

Oscar Piastri stays in the top spot and his McLaren team mate is in second.

"These are the best laps I can do" Charles Leclerc tells the Ferrari team. He is in eighth spot, while his team mate Lewis Hamilton is out in Q2.

I think the other issue for Ferrari is just the general pace of the car. Charles Leclerc qualified fourth for the last race in Saudi Arabia and finished on the podium. But this weekend, they're just nowhere.

It's the same problem for Lewis Hamilton, under braking. It's the same problem he had in Q1, locking up the left front.

There are blue skies with white puffy clouds to my right, but to my left, there are definitely darker clouds.

You can feel a little bit of something in the air, humidity is rising, the wind has picked up and it just feels like it might rain, let's see.

The Haas of Esteban Ocon is in 12th, but the Frenchman is on a fast lap and wanting to get out of the drop zone.

Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda puts his car into eighth spot. Ocon is in ninth.

I'm really, really liking the Racing Bulls' Miami livery. A very lovely shade of pink.

There are queue of cars now but it looks like Alex Albon has not been able to make it out, so he's having to sit there and wait for all these cars to file past him to go to the end of the pit lane.

George Russell was on a set of used tyres, it's worth noting that five drivers managed to save a set of soft tyres, which might be a slight advantage going into this middle section of qualifying.

Those drivers are Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli.

When they're on low fuel and in qualifying mode, there are very little margins between these cars. The competition is really intense and it should bring it home to everyone to be successful in Formula 1, to gain the tenth, or half a tenth that could make you a world champion, is extremely time consuming.
