The buffer Max Verstappen holds over Lando Norris is holding around the seven-second mark. The McLaren has work on his hands at the moment trying to move through on Charles Leclerc - a backmarker today.

A huge sigh of relief in the Alpine garage and if Gasly was being truthful then his release now into clean air, he's got a gap to work to and to try and extend himself away from Ocon.

He [Piastri] will get Hamilton because he has that ten-second penalty to face, so if I was McLaren my focus would be on how do I get Sainz.

One place gained for Charles Leclerc as he climbs to the lofty heights of 17th spot on his medium tyres. The RB of Daniel Ricciardo is next on the Ferrari man's list to overtake.

This is going to be a tough one for Alonso, it's always painful when you have to come into the pits and stop and wait. It feels like forever for the racing driver.

Gasly: "What was that? Did you see he pushed me off the track?"

Not again. Pierre Gasly is furious with Esteban Ocon as he tries to pass his team-mate. Gasly ends up running wide off the track, which triggers his angry radio message...

That nearly went horribly wrong but they've got both Alpines ahead of Alonso.

Fernando Alonso heads into the pits after losing position to the Alpines. The Spaniard has to stay put for 10 seconds to serve his penalty, then he's back on his way.

A doubles blow for Fernando Alonso as both Alpines pass by. But as we know, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon aren't the best of friends, and the two battle each other for position a few corners after. Ocon stays ahead in 12th, Gasly is in 13th.

Third time's a charm for 18th-placed Charles Leclerc. The Ferrari driver heads into the pits for another stop.
