Chaos at the end of the Austrian Grand Prix. Lando Norris is out of this race after his aggressive tussle with Max Verstappen. The McLaren driver tried to go around the outside of the Red Bull and the two banged wheels and ran wide.

Lando is getting out, you can feel in his body the bitter disappointment with how this has worked out.

Puncture on Verstappen!

Carlos Sainz is up to second and Oscar Piastri is in third pace. Lando Norris' rear wheel is a mess as he makes his way pack to the pits.

Piasstri has passed Sainz! The Austrlian is into second spot.

The pair have made contact!! Max Verstappen has damage and is furious on the team radio. Lando Norris is also limping and the Mercedes of George Russell takes the lead!

The blows are coming thick and fast now! Lando Norris tries his luck on lap 63 but the McLaren driver can't get past Max Verstappen without going off the track.

That was brilliant defence from Max, that time he saw what Lando was trying to do, he covered him off just enough.

We're reaching the curtain call in Austria and the action is all focused at the front of the field. Max Verstappen is half a second ahead of Lando Norris now.

It's becoming tense between the two now and Red Bull are on the radio to Max Verstappen to say they can't see how Lando Norris can think the Dutchman forced him off the track.

Remember Max and Lando actually get on very well but right now there is some arguments about how it's going.

Lando Norris says Max Verstappen is forcing him off the circuit when the pair are grappling for the lead. Now race control have flagged the McLaren's driving for track limits.

It's so close still, I'm amazed by how Lando is managing to keep it so close to Max Verstappen when Max had this seven-second lead for so long in the early stages.

It's very clear that Verstappen is on the racing line in the breaking zone, and as Lando dives down the inside for his lunge, he only then starts to move across and only then started breaking.

Lando Norris jumps on Max Verstappen for the lead and he does pass the Red Bull, but the McLaren runs off the track and has to give the position back. Norris has already picked up a few dings for track limits...

The gap is coming down and is now 0.336 seconds. Lando Norris is inching closer and closer but still the shutters stay down on the McLaren passing the Red Bull of Max Verstappen. The Dutchman's engineer gives him some instructions over the team radio but he bats it away.

Verstappen: "It's like there's something wrong with the car, man. No grip."

He's [Verstappen] such a thinking driver, if he's smart, he's going to use that DRS into Turn Three which means he can hopefully try and break it.

Max Verstappen is feeling the heat and tells his pit wall the car doesn't feel right. Lando Norris is hunting him down but is not able to get closer enough to pounce on the three-time world champion.

The advantage is 1.128 seconds for Max Verstappen but Lando Norris is staying on the rear wing of the Red Bull.

The chase is on now and Lando Norris tries his luck at Turn Three to overtake Max Verstappen but the McLaren is unsuccessful. The Briton is on the radio to flag Verstappen's defending during that battle.
